What kind of art inspires you the most?
I get inspiration everywhere, with many different things I consider art...architecture, landscape, interior design, and even while I'm just shopping. I like to observe color combinations and how people put different textures together. But, if I were to name actual artists, I've always loved the work of American artistis, Charles Wysocki and Jane Wooster Scott.
What's one of your favorite art projects you've done with your child?
Recently, my children and I made polymer clay donuts for their American Girl dolls. I had never worked with clay, so it was an adventure for all of us. It was a lot of fun, and I learned that my daughter has some serious sculpting skills! Since our trial run with the donuts was a success, we decided to have that activity at my other daughter's American Girl Doll Sleepover birthday party. The guests had a lot of fun with the craft! http://www.blogger.com/blogger.gblogID=3068794837412971228#editor/target=post;postID=6515732321715430378
What do you do with all the art projects your child creates?
Honestly, they are all kind of piled up waiting for a place. Like a lot of Moms out there, I have tons of projects to get to around the house, and a nice display area is still on my "To Do" list.
