What kind of art inspires you the most?
I admire highly original, expressive art in any medium. I'm drawn to dreamy, multimedia collages that incorporate words, but I also appreciate fine art.
What's one of your favorite art projects you've done with your child?
My son (who was five years old at the time) and I much enjoyed this photo/collage project, led by Shona Cole through an online camp at WishStudio.com. http://studiomothers.com/2010/09/09/miranda-best-of-both-worlds/
What do you do with all the art projects your child creates?
I display art on clips strung on a wire in our art room -- as well as hanging on the wall in our kitchen. For longer-term storage, each of my five children has a flat-storage bin in the attic. I save the real gems for those boxes. If it's a large piece that doesn't lend itself to storage, I take a photo of it and add it to my Project Life album.
