Why I Decided to Adopt
My husband and I first talked about adopting on a mission trip to Tanzania while we were still dating. We started talking about kids after being married two years and decided we wanted to start our family through adoption.
The Biggest Challenge of the Adoption Process
The hardest thing about this process has been giving up "my timeline" or really any sense of control! This process has forced me to trust God in his timing, is provision and his faithfulness! Wow! He is good!
When and How My Son Learned He Was Adopted
We want to talk openly about adoption from day one. When he has questions, we want him to feel comfortable asking. When he hurts, want him to feel comfortable expressing himself. It won't be perfect and we will learn as we go.
