What's unique about raising children in the South?

I think a child raised in the South is unique in that he/she is surrounded by such a rich cultural heritage. Literally everywhere you go in our hometown has such an amazing story to tell.

What's a great place for a family to vacation in the South?

Since I love promoting my own home state, I'll always offer up the Mississippi Gulf Coast as my first "must-see" vacation place. Miles of beaches, tons of family fun, and amazing seafood!
