Top 25 Funny Moms
Laughter is a mother's greatest tool: handy for redirecting a toddler in full-on meltdown, for defusing an argument, and, generally speaking, for turning a big bad moment in your family's day into one you can later share on Facebook. It's also what gets us moms over the bumps and keeps us moving forward — an absolute necessity when the entire family's mood seems to revolve around ours.
On our toughest days, when we're juggling too much and we're drowning in the chaos of it all, we're grateful that family life seems to come with a built-in laugh track. From the wacky things our kids do (one tot we know licks her entire desert territorially, just in case someone else might try to steal a bite), and say ("My pee is coming. I can feel it downloading!"), to crazy daily challenges like making dinner while simultaneously nursing the baby and fielding a visit from the Census taker, we moms have a VIP box at best comedy show in town.
But it's true that not every day with kids is a laugh riot. Sometimes we have to look to other people's families for comic relief. For these moments, we give you the Top 25 Funny Moms, as nominated and voted upon by Circle of Moms members.
Keep this list of bloggers handy: on tough days, these moms are all the medicine you'll need.

1. Because I Said So by Dawn Meehan |

What inspired you to start blogging? Eh, I had way too much time on my hands since I only had six kids to take care of, so I decided to start blogging. What are three distinctive features of your blog? Ugh, I don't know. Honestly, I don't think my blog is any different than any other blog out there. The people who read it do so because something I write resonates with them. I guess, it's distinctive because I tell stories from the perspective of a single mom raising six kids on her own. I like to laugh and make others laugh as well. And I'm not only a blogger, but a published author. What are three adjectives that describe your blog?

2.The Divine Secrets of a Domestic Diva by Susan McLean |

What inspired you to start blogging? In what now feel like a lifetime ago, I worked as a corporate trainer and often used my platform to recant stories and share funny mommy moments with my corporate classes. When I made the decision to stay home full time, I missed the adult interaction, and I felt like just one more episode of Wonder Pets away from my brain turning to mush. Blogging was my way of retaining an audience for some of the funnier situations life seems to consistently throw my way, connecting to other people going through the same "domestic challenges," and as a means of getting a little attention for myself (all bloggers are narcissists whether they admit it or not). 3. Snarky Mommy by Amy Sprenger |

What inspired you to start blogging? I started blogging about 93 years ago (OK, it just feels that way, it was actually six years ago) because all the cool kids were doing it. A few months after I started my blog, I got knocked up and was strapped to a bed for four months during a high-risk pregnancy. My blog became an outlet for the craziness of my pregnancy and morphed into a typical Mommy Blog after I had my kids. Well, that is, if you consider live-blogging your husband’s vasectomy “typical.” What are three distinctive features of your blog?
