19Beyond Normalcy: Life With Twins by Amy |
The Best Part About Having Multiples I love that my girls have a constant playmate. That is, if they are not fighting, screaming, or fussing at each other. :) They are at an age (almost three) where they are little friends and it's precious! Having twins brings patience to parents that you never thought you could muster, it instills sharing and taking turns at an early age, and has been the biggest joy of my life — double the blessing! The Hardest Part About Having Multiples With multiples, often comes prematurity, NICU stays, difficulty nursing, some health issues with your babies, etc. which can be so difficult. Having TWO infants at the same time was so hard, almost like an outer body experience — I was SO tired and a new clueless mom. Every stage has gotten easier, but has come with new challenges. Reese and Riley are always keeping me on my toes as I'm always trying to balance life with twins: the ups and downs/the ebb and flow of twindom. Every day I try to remember my mama's advice, "This too shall pass!" My Favorite Posts |

The Best Part About Having Multiples The best part is watching them become friends more and more each day. They started noticing each other at a really young age and it has been amazing to see them interact more and more. I've also really enjoyed the instant club that us moms of multiples are a part of. There's a great community out there for us and I've made some amazing friends because of these babies. The Hardest Part About Having Multiples Feeling guilty because I never think I'm giving each separate girl the individual attention she needs. I try not to think of them as a 'unit' but sometimes it's hard. My Favorite Posts |
