What inspired you to start blogging?

My Bunny girl! Her enthusiasm and vibrance for life rubbed off on me and well, as they say, the rest is history.

What inspired you to start blogging?

My first parenting book, Oh, Baby! 7 Ways a Baby Will Change Your Life the First Year, was published in 2006. It inspired me to reach out to more parents. I had so much information I wanted to impart, and so many new products were coming out every day. I just couldn’t convey those things to readers through a book. So, I felt that having a parenting blog would be the perfect way to be able to interact with parents on a daily basis.

2. Well-established: almost 5 years old

What inspired you to start blogging?

I first started blogging in November 2008. A friend I met online, Edee who runs stuckathomemom.com, was a big inspiration to me. I really wanted to work from home and she held my hand and got me started. She's been so much help along the way. I love having a voice and sharing our family life and thoughts on products.

What are three distinctive features of your blog?

1. I review family friendly products that fit into our lifestyle. My 2 boys are preschoolers and my daughter is a pre-tween so I stick to topics and products that are fitting for their age group or they enjoy. Any product that makes my life easier as a mom also coming in as a priority, too.
2. I also love to share family movie entertainment and places that we visit locally in the Chicagoland area.
3. I really enjoy doing video reviews of products because I think its a great way to give more information and helps others see more of the products from different angles to make a better informed decision on a product purchase.
