Oh...this will be fun. Get an A3/A2 peice of paper and lay it on the floor ontop of a splashmat. Tape the paper down in the corners. Choose a vegtable or fruit, (peas,blueberrys and strawberrys work the best) and blend them until they become a paste. Dress your child in some scruffy clothes or just a nappy and get to painting. You're child will LOVE splashing and moving about the "paint" around the paper, and the best thing is...its safe to eat and you'll have a nice picture to hang on the wall when they're done (and its dried).
Done foodpainting with both my girls since they where 6 months old, they love it. Good luck :)

That's a little early in my opinion. But, I do recommend starting "Baby Signs" at this age. This is very basic sign language to help baby learn to communicate with you before their speech is developed.
Singing to baby, nursery rhymes, hand games, and board books for story time are good at this age.
