  • Katie says:
The doctor or nurse handed me the baby, and I was looking forward to holding her and looking at her, but my boyfriend picked her up like 30 seconds later and I didn't say this but I was like "Hey, whats going on?" I always thought the mom held the baby..Honestly I thought a doctor had picked her up to clean her off, because the meds were really starting to kick in at this point and I really had no idea what was going on. He was just so excited though..it was probably a good thing he held her since I had the meds kicking in

  • Juanita says:
With Mina, no... went straight to ICU. But I think Angel did with Kelsi? I can't remember.

  • Michelle says:
Yes, with Justin. Roxanna was in distress and they showed her to me then took her to the nursery to suction her lungs. • Brenda says:
Yes I did- not only that, but I was the one who ACTUALLY DELIVERED HIM! As soon as his shoulders were out, the midwife told me to take hold of him and pull him out. It was the strangest feeling! They had me place him under my hospital gown, on my chest. At first I thought "wtf? are these people crazy?" now, I know it was at that moment that I truly fell in love with my son. I had never felt that way in my life. With my first child, they took her away 20 secs after I held her because they could not stop my bleeding. I often wonder if this is the reason she and I never bonded :(
