Q:

Did you have a difficult labour? If so, what went wrong?

    First labour was terrifying. Had an epeisiotomy then a third degree tear on top of that, almost ripped my bowel. Took aver 3 months to recover. Second birth (also natural) was a joy in comparison. Hopefully number 3 will be as good.

    NO not at all. But I did have a blood transfusion because I lost alot of blood.

    Yes, I was in labour for 18 hours and Keegan was stuck. Her heart stopped and I was rushed for an emergency c-section.

    i had c-section because i was in hospital for a week with prostein gel and i didnt even dilate (he just didnt wanna come out)

    Yes, my waters broke 6 months early so they had 2 stop it, then when i did go into labour, i was left 4 days with no waters, i had a retained plecenta and the midwife i had was so bad

    oh yes. had to be induced at 7:30am.. 5:15pm, my water finally broke.. 7:30am the next morning, i was finally 5cm.. 10:30am, i was 10cm & started pushing.. 3 hours later, another doctor decided i needed an emergency c-section.

    yeh, well i was induced to early..i had to push for almost 3 hours & he came out sideways...OUCH!!!

    he had maconium and ended up with a lung infection plus his head was to big and got stuck so they had to do an episiotamy and suction cap him out

    yes, when I started pushing her heart rate dropped and didn't come back up so they did an emergency c-section

    yes, my spinal block went wrong and i ended up with a really severe shock down the left side of my body

    no it was perfect the only thing that wasnt so good was my contractions stopped so i was doing all the pushing by my self

    I wouldn't say that. I tend to have long labors, which made my first difficult because we developed "impatient doctor syndrome." My third I guess was difficult because she was born feet first, but it all happened so quickly (45 minutes -- TOTAL). Then my youngest was born by necessary c-section partly because of a problem caused by my first (unnecessary) c-section.

    yes...i was almost a week over due,my water was green,he got stuck,his oxgen went down after he was delivered

    It was kind of difficult. they tried the epideral to many times while i was in labour and now i pay for it everyday.lots of headaches and backpain

    yes all 3 were a week over due plus i had back labour with all 3 and almost lost my daughter due to lack of blood

    3 easy labours. although i heamorrhage after giving birth. wasn't aware of that with the first of course. but doctors were prepared with the other 2.

    yes was very long 36 1/2 hrs and he got stuck

    Tysons was a very long labour 24 hrs Ralis was much faster at 6 hours but his heart rate fell right down and i nearly had to have a c-section

    well, I only been in labor one time, but the c sections were all a risk, the last one was the most dangerous though.

    My first I was in labor 13.5 hours. I was miserable and in pain. After only dialating 4cm that entire time I was put in for a section. The second was great.

    Only one of my labors was hard.With my 1st set of twins.My identical boys.They are 42 minutes apart.2nd twin had a very hard time delivering.

    yes my water broke 2 days earlier so i was dry doc at time of labor i was in active labor for 39 hrs and had so many health issues..i almost died my baby came home before me

    with Christopher it went smooth but it hurt alot worse with Laura since the epidural didnt work how i had hoped.

    The first was 18 hours of back labour then an emergency c-section. Second was a planned c-section

    Nope, Labor was awesome. 3 hours of labor, 1 hour of pushing. Riley was stuck, so had an episotomy. and they used the Vacuum on his Head.

    christina was overdue by 2 weeks but everything else was ok, but kanes was 28 hours long and very very painful lol

    Thomas was 12 days late and I was induced - his heart beat stopped during every contraction and had to have an electronic monitor tagged onto his head, then he was born head and arm 1st - my little superman Jack was completely different 5 days late but labour started itself and I had him with no pain relief in my front room
