    I was dilated to 3cm in my final wk and the dr had me come in 3 days before my due date to break my water. So I guess that is called inducing labor.

    Not with first two. Jake was born in back of ambulance, 10 mins from start to finish, so they induced me with William to slow it down.

    No he actually came earlier then my due date. The due date was the 21st Dec and he came on the 12th Dec. Which was good because we wanted him born before Christmas .

    Yes, I was induced at 38 weeks gestation because Hope wasn't growing in the womb and my doctor's were worried about her and me. She was almost 5 centimetres under length.

    Sort of - I didn't HAVE to be induced but my doctor was going on vacation and I was already 3cm and 50-60%effaced but not having "contractions" that were doing anything quickly enough so he wanted to hurry it up so he'd be here when the baby came.
