How many more children do you plan on having? And what age gaps do you want?

My husband and I just talked about this. Our son just turned one. We're going to stop using condoms, and try using the fertility awareness method to avoid having a baby, but if we do, that's good, too. We had such a bad time with him because he was a difficult baby that we kind of feel like we don't want to go through that again, but on the other hand he needs siblings and we'd really like another child or two, with not a very large gap in age.

Since we are going to be having Alex on Dec. 22, 2010, I thought that about a 5 years was a good gap between the oldest and the baby. Since I had Lexis and Tyler so close together it was like taking care of twins. I would love to do that again but then I really have no time to myself or to devote to my kids one on one.
