Is religion a must in your family?

    Thats a difficult question to answer, I beleive in my faith with my whole heart but I dont believe on forcing it onto others, but it would really hurt if my children didn't believe in me and my fiance's faith....

    My children knowing about God, and reading the bible is must in my house. But I leave my children with the choice to make their own decision on what they choose to believe.

    It's not a must although I wish it was. I am a Christian, my husband is not. He's not against it though and he believes in God. He is just not saved. As Addison gets older we will go to church as a family.

    "Religion" is not really as much "Spiritual". I raised my children to believe in God and they were both raised in church. My daughter still attends church with her 3 year old but my son has turned his back on church/God. I pray that he will come back to how he was taught.

    On the contrary! We aren't religious at all but that doesn't mean we don't believe in anything.

    it kind of is. I want to have religion in my life and my children's but I found it so difficult for my kids. I would bring them to church and they would be very whiney and didn't want to be there.

    Yes. Religion is a must in our family. We feel our religion guides our every decision and our paths in life so it is very important.

    Faith is a choice in our family. We go to church faithfully because we want to be there to be uplifted with others that believe, we live this faith out so our kids can see how we are different and then when the time comes and they understand it fully, they can make that life choice as well. Never forced, but encouraged yes.

    Religion is important to our family, and my children show an interest in it. My husband and I teach them about our beliefs, and always answer any question they have concerning other religions. If we are asked something we are unfamiliar with or do not practice ourselves, we help them find the answers they seek.

    i believe that my children should absolutely be exposed to god, church and religion. when they are older they can make the final decision on what to believe and what not to.
