The first two nights were a nightmare, Kylah was awake most of the night. Daniel and my mum looked after her while i got some sleep! After that she woke around 12, 4 and 8 for a feed until she was about 2 months and she started sleeping right through!

A mix of emotions - joy at bringing my baby home and at being out of hospital. Fear about how I would cope at home by myself (I wasn't able to move much, and couldn't do any washing for a while). I was pretty emotional, but started to settle down after a few days.

Well, with Gavyn, walking was difficult, so I spent all day and night upstairs in the bedrooms. Besides that, it went well. With Wyatt, it went much smoother.

Very rough... she woke up every 2 hours or so. So Adam & I worked it out where I would get up at 6am & stay up with her during the day. He'd sleep during the day. He'd stay up with her all night while I slept. It didn't make sense for neither of us to be sleeping.

With Brayden they were Hell he had colic and would not sleep, plus i was recovering from major surgery. With Marissa they were wonderful. she was an angel baby and my recovery was much quicker.

Crazy, I think it helped that I wasn't used to it. The first couple weeks were easiest for me, as soon as she woke up I was excited to get up with her. It was after a couple weeks that I kinda wanted her to stop waking up all night long lol

incredable.. was so excited to finally bring him home.. waited for so long. Showed him around his new home, showed him his room, put on every teeny adorable outfit I wanted to see him in, took a billion pictures, played a bunch of baby songs for him over and over and just layed in bed with him for about 2 weeks recovering and just having some one-on-one time getting to know my new little man.

Wonderful. Lots of work but lots of love. With Jeff I was on my own so when he was about a week old I had a breakdown and didn't feel like I could do it anymore and was crying a lot. With Keirsten I had my husband's help so all was well.
