RSV when the twins were only 9 weeks old. They had to be in the hospital for a week and were losing weight rapidly. Emilee also had a lump on her upper leg and were very scared about that as all the doctors we took her to didn't know what it was.

Hmmm...Lucas was in an incubator for 3 days, had belly button issues, and projectile vomiting as a baby!! Logan ( whole other story!! )... in incubator for almost a week!! Born a month early, he is sick almost once a month and he's already had surgery on his penis!!!

He had a condition called Infantile Spasms. (basically baby seizures). Very hard to see your child in pain, and needing treatment that you know hurts them at first but is a necessary evil. It was a very tough 5 months

Broncitus cant spell.., Croup, were both in his first year.. He was always vommitting, drove me nuts that I kid can VOMITT that much. May of 2008 He was told he had Asthma. He takes Puffers, and its gotten better .IT runs in his fathers side but they have come to terms that it could go away.

one had hernia surgery at 2 mnths old ; one had inner ear surgery at 5 yrs old & then 2 more surgeries to try to rebuild the ear drum ; day before my daughter's 15 th. birthday she was in a car accident, ended up in hospital trama unit for a week with liver lacerations & other injuries.... first 3 mnths critical to her healing.... been almost a year & her liver is 100%..... amazing organ the liver.

Ian's was his prematurity (which you would not be able to tell now) and Mallory was her PKU (phenylketoneuria) which is monitered every two years and she has to be on a low protein diet when she wants to have children of her own.

Those first 4 months in NICU, Aaron was on a respirator, had 4 blood transfusions, went blind in both eyes, and had major surgery. When he was discharged to come home, he was only 9 lbs.(@ 4mos), but wasn't on any meds, & never has been since. Today, he's a happy, healthy 9 year old with no medical problems.
