i think it's strange. my 18 week old will pop on and off, talk, try to do sit-ups, go back, and sometimes just hang there looking around with her head upside down over the side of my leg (i'm sitting on a balance ball), and if i try to get her to come up, she arches her back even more. clearly, she likes it. she comes back to the breast eventually. is this wierd?

Hehe...babies are cute!

Absolutely normal.

I just love putting myself in their eyes in my mind and thinking what an amazingly interesting world it must be to them.

My son has done the same thing since birth. He LOVES to be upside down. If someone is holding him he just flips backwards. It's a little funny though when he gets stuck and cant sit up again.

Nope she's just exploring her environment. I have to take my 6 month p;d to the bedroom an turn out the lights just so he'll nurse because he gets so distracted!
