I know that some of you have used elimination communication or are at least interested in it. I am starting EC with my 5-month-old, and I was unsure how to even approach nighttime EC. I am not even sure that I need to do anything in the nighttime yet. But I found a blog that I thought had some good info for nighttime....

If you are EC'ing or have EC'd at night, how did you go about it? What would you recommend in terms of when and how to start? Thanks in advance!

I kept a diaper on Adelaide at night and if I noticed that she wasn't falling right back to sleep after waking to nurse and was pushing on me with her legs I would get her up to pee. It was an extremely short period of getting up to help her pee during the night. She hated it- caused screaming and that's something we don't force in EC. She's been dry at night since about seven months.
