Potty Training Book Recommendations

My daughter just turned 2 and is starting to show signs of wanting to learn how to use the potty and ditch the diapers. Are there any great books out there that go well with the AP philosophy? I want this to be an easy and fun transition for me and my daughter. Any advise would be appreciated.

Diaper Free by Ingrid Bauer. It's a book on elimination communication or natural infant hygiene. Although it focuses on infants, elimination communication can be used for toddlers as well.

This is because elimination communication is simply about being sensitive to your child's cues that she needs to relieve herself, and helping her to become aware of her body's needs. There's no coercion, no shame, no rewards or punishment. No expectations as well. It's just you and your daughter, learning together.

Remember, no healthy adult is in diapers. We simply talk about ourselves needing to go to the bathroom, allow our daughter to come in with us, and I pay attention to her cues that she needs to go and also to the clock. If she goes, great, if not, we'll try again next time. Misses happen, and are just part of becoming potty independent.
