I am a huge fan of AP and I am trying to embrace it in every way possible. I currently have a Snugglie and my daughter usually likes it, but I would like to try something different. I have seen the Moby, the baby hawk, and the hotsling. I just want to know what all the other moms are using.

I am closing this conversation because the original post is over 2 years old. I have a conversation about babywearing recommendations pinned above. Please check it out; your input is invaluable.

i am still a big fan of my two hoppediz and didymos wraps. my son is 2 1/2 and i switched to the ergo a year ago to carry him on my back more and conveniently. i like the ergo BUT a week ago or so he asked me about the wrap that was lying on the shelf and if i could wear him in it, so i checked on youtube how to wrap it and did it and was absolutely thrilled with how comfi it was and how much lighter my son felt! i just LOVE the wrap because it is so "organic" it just adapts to every size and "shape" of baby/child, you can wrap it in so many different ways, no wiggle room just nicely fit at any age. and once you get the hang of wrapping it is a piece of cake, seriously, i really enjoyed trying out all different styles and settled for a few ones that i really liked.

I have a nice little collection of carriers, and love them all! I would say my most versatile have been my mei tais and my woven wrap. Having a ring sling is very handy, too!

My favourite mei tai is the Babyhawk. :)

If you read up on posture and baby carriers you'll find out why the Baby Bjorn and Tommy ones aren't very good for your baby. They put all the weight on the crotch and can cause Spondylolisthesis. So many people use them and it is very worrying. Check out the following link for more info on baby carriers and spinal stress. http://www.continuum-concept.org/reading...

I use the ergo baby carrier. It is amazing! You can wear it in front, in back and on your hip. (depending how old your baby is) Everytime I put her in it she falls to sleep and it's great how close it keeps her to me. I have also tried the moby which I didn't like (it slipped around too much), baby bjorn which was okay (good for when they are small). Good luck!

Think its good to have a selection. I used the close but now he's to heavy for stretchy ring slings so i have a structured soft carrier, i think the Ergo is best, and a woven wrap carrier such as the Storchenwiege ones offer great support and versitility. Check out www.bigmamaslings.co.uk.

I use the 'Sleepy Wrap' which is gorgeous. It's beautiful and soft and a bit elastic which prevents any pressure points.

It was half the price of the other wrap that I bought, but much better - it's my fave baby shower gift now.

I bought a ringsling when I was expecting my second, then found a supplier for the rings and have since been making my own ringslings- and for every new mum on the playground! The basic, unpadded ones are soo easy to make and use, and take up hardly any space in a bag or whatever. Plus by making my own I can choose material I like.

I purchased a Hotsling and we both (little one and I) love it! People always comment on how cozy she looks in it.

I really don't like mainstream baby carriers (snugli, bjorn, infantino). They don't support the baby properly. I love mei tais- my daughter is in one in my picture, and ring slings. I use both equally.

My absolute favorite is the MamaBaby ring sling. You buy two of them and can use them either together or separate. I also have a moby wrap that I use for my 3 year old son.

i use a hotsling and a snuggli and we own a Maya wrap. I love the hot sling because it works in several different ways and is comfy... but the snugli is better for my husband! i reccomend the hotsling but try to find one to try on before you buy... they do run a little small!

I use the moby it is great very comfortable to wear and my son loves it he falls asleep everytime he is in it. It also gives me 2 hands which is great when you also have a 2 and half year old.
