Hello, I just moved to the UK from America. I was involved in an Attachment Parenting group over there. So far here I hv noticed a lot of crying babies being ignored by their mums and very little babywearing.

Hi Jill, there is a list of Attachment Parenting groups in the UK at www.attachmentparentinguk.com/support including two groups that are affiliated to Attachment Parenting International. Hope you find a group near you!

Hi,
Where have you moved to? I am a member of the NCT (National Childbirth Trust) and many of my fellow members babywear. I also attend La Leche League meetings and most of the ladies that attend these meetings babywear too. The NCT and La Leche Laugue both have local groups all over the country. I am also a member of a local "Sling meet" group on facebook and many of my friends attend this group every month; again there are sling meets all over the country. It is true that Attachment Parenting isn't much in evidence in the UK, but you may be surprised where you meet a fellow attachment parent!
