"Is the Tooth Fairy Real??" Help!

My 7yo. (8 aug. 15th) daughter lost her 5th tooth today. She asked me if the Tooth Fairy is real. I wasn't expecting this question so I answered by saying "sure!". She then said she thought maybe the parents took the teeth and gave the money. I completely didn't know what to say so I shook my head no and told her to go brush her teeth for bedtime, She has two little brothers ages 3 and 3 months. I know that with this tooth fairy question will come questions about Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny... Please help... I don't know what to say to her..... It kind of makes me sad too knowing that she's growing up...

my 9 y/o asked me that last week. I asked her what she thought & she decided that yes, the tooth fairy is real.

Mine all doubt the tooth fairy (ages almost 8, 5, and 3.5). I said "of course he/she is real. I wouldn't give you money or take your teeth!"
