My daughter had tubes put in at 5 months and she was a little fussy because she had so much drainage all they told me to do is to put the drops in and if she got a fever then i was told to take her in for antibiotics.

Oh, also, my brother and my stepson both had them and they both had issues of things being too loud after the surgery. They weren't used to being able to hear and that could be a part of the fussiness too. Do you notice it at certain times?

My daughter had tube surgery at 7 months and she wasn't fussy, but she also didn't have any drainage and most kids do. She did dig at hers a lot for a few months after she had it done. I took her to the doctor several times thinking she had an ear infection because she was digging and she didn't. They told me she couldn't feel them, but I suspect something felt different as she was constantly digging. Each child is different, but if it was just done recently you may want to go to the doc to be sure it isn't an infection. This is a bad time of year for that tubes or no tubes.
