Yes, my daughter was dx when she was 2, and we've been in and out for testing (talk about a night-mare) yearly, they are hoping she will out grow it, good luck!

My daughter was born with one kidney and they said she was a level 1 reflux. She was on prophylactic antibiotics for a few years and never had a uti. Avoid bubble baths, certain soaps, etc. I use natural soap with out the sudsing agent. Making sure they eat healthy and not too much acidity so that they don't change the ph down there helps too. Acidophiles and other probiotics help keep the bacteria from going crazy down there too. (No jeans, let her wear thin clothes so that there is air movement to avoid yeast growth.)

Hang in there! Not only did my son actually have reflux...my daughter kept kidney infections. (We think due to potty training) She is just now three, and she has qit having them. The doc said it's common for girls around that age. So, hopefully this will happen for you too!

My son was diagnosed with it when he was 2 months old. They said we would keep him on Bactrim for a year and if he hadn't outgrown it by then, we would do surgery. But at the one year checkup it was gone!

My daughter has not yet been diagnosed, but it is suspected because she gets frequent urinary tract infections, including kidney infections. She is only ten years old and has had at least 20 UTI's. We are actually going to have a renal ultrasound in a couple of weeks. I will let you know what I find out.
