My son will be four on Aug 28 & all's fine with the potty! He gets up in the morning & goes to the potty and all thru the day he goes when he feels like. Same for peeing. But the trouble I have is getting him not to pee on the bed! He goes to pee before he goes to bed but still wets the bed thru the night. He had stopped diapers but now I have to revert to wearing him pull-ups to sleep.. So, I need help here...Any Ideas???

We have 2 5 year old boys that kept having all kinds of accidents at night. We now cut off all drinks about 1 hr 30 mins before bed and make sure the go pee before bed. We dont hardly ever have anymore accidents anymore. Good luck

I made star charts. I had stickers and made a chart with every day of the week on it. he got to put a star on that day of the week if he didn't pee. I told him if he could go a whole week with stars then he could go pick out a toy. He was 4 as well. It took about a month and things improved tremendously after that.

I always lifted my children, juts before going to bed myself, we still had the odd accident but not often. I also used a plastic mattress protector , and an old sheet across the bed , so didn't end up changing the whole bed. It can take a while for children to get dry during the night, when they are in a deep sleep and relaxed they are not really 'listening' to their body, so not get the 'I need to go' feeling. I used my method on four of my five children, and it has never failed..... good luck x
