I have a son who will be three years old in a few months but it is SO hard to have a conversation with him sometimes. He talks very well and retains information better than most three year olds that I know but he has a habit of repeating everything he hears. So instead of answering me when I ask him a question, he will just repeat my question. He rarely gives a proper answer to any question. How concerned should I be about this???

I would bring this up to your son's doctor to have an eval with a speech therapist. It might be nothing, but then at least you know it is normal/minor. Trust me if you have even the slightest concern have it checked out. If you go through your local school district or early childhood program it should be free.
