My daughter just turned two and weighs 21 pounds, she is almost 36 inches tall. Her doctor has me bring her in once a month to check her growth, and is sending us bak to a pediatrician. She has been lean her whole life..all two years of it. They ran all kinds of tests when she was about 4 months old because she dropped off the weight charts. She is happy and healthy and full of energy. She eats like a horse but she runs like a tazmanian devil whenever she is awake. They aren't too worried about her because she is thriving, so I am not worrying too much about it.

My almost 2 year old weighs 22 lbs. I wouldn't worry. She's always been petite, 5% for weight and 65% for height. If the doctor isn't concerned I wouldn't be. Kids come in all different shapes and sizes :)

My daughter just turned 2 and she is 26lbs. She is also very tall for her age and on the thin side. If your daughter is short she is probably within the normal limits for her height.

My daughter just turned 2 and weighs 23 pounds she is tiny everyone think she is much younger then she is. Her cousin who just turned one actually weighs more then her. The Doc says shes continuing to grow steady on the growth curve, so he said we have nothing to worry about. Have to remember every child is different in personality, size, intellect, and when they reach milestones.

My 2 yr old is 23 lbs and 31 inches. He hasn't grown at all lenth wise in the last few months. When he was born, he was in the 50% for height and now he isn't even on the chart. His pediatrician has set him up to meet with a endocrinologist in 1 month for an eval and some blood work. They are testing for Celiacs disease, low growth hormone levels, and a few other things. I am nervous but i also have many nieces and nephews that are in the same boat so it is probably just genetics. Doesn't hurt to check it out though

i have a four year old who only weighs 24 lbs. at 2 she weighed 19. she is very healthy and very active, and eats pretty good. her doctor however is monitoring her growth, or lack thereof. i'm not too concerned because she is very healthy, but the doctors want to do test in three months if she hasn't grown. i would say go with your instincts. if she is behaving normally and is healthy, i wouldn't worry. but, you can always talk to her doctor if you have concerns about it, but they would have told you by now if they have concerns.

My 2 year old weighs 24 lbs. She just had her annual check up and the doctor said she was fine, she is just built tall and lean. My son weighed 24 lbs at 9 months old so it is quite a change for me!! I wouldn't worry unless your child's Dr. has concerns.
