My son's penis is red and swollen and he has been having constant diarreah, and answers? We are out of town but I am thinking urgent care today.

My little boy had the same thing a couple of months ago and he was in agony with it! We ended up takeing him to hospital to have it looked at, they gave him some medication and sent us home. Was meant to get an appointment for a follow up check but have yet to recive anything! Within a couple of days of taking his medication the swelling had gone down and he seemed much better! I hope you little boy is better really soon xx kerrie xx

My son got a yeast infection on his penis from diarrhea. His doctor said to use Canesten creme on it and it cleared right up in a few days.

The bottom of Richies penis was red and swollen one day and it just happened to be a day we had a ped appointment. The doctor said it was from rubbing on the diaper and that I should try to tuck it a different way. It definitely could be irritated from the diarrhea as well... when my son gets diarrhea he gets yeast infections, so maybe that's what it is?

Not sure about the red and swollen penis but it all could be from Teething. You would be surprised what happens to children when they are teething. But it wouldn't hurt to get him checked out by a doctor either.

I hope you aren't on a vacation.That wouldn't be very relaxing. That has to be so painful for him. I am sure the diarrhea isn't helping matters but not a lot you can do about that. I think I would bring him in too, just to get an opinion. Its may have gotten irritated from a little poop getting in there and just can't stay clean due to the diarrhea. My son had diarrhea a few weeks ago but his butt was the only thing that got affected. His butt looked like it was almost raw and that was only after like 30 seconds at most from when he pooped. I hope everything gets better soon.
