9 month old vomits every time when eating lumpy foods

I have twin boy/girl who were born Aug 6th, they were born 8 weeks prem but have certainly caught up in size approx 18/19lbs. I've started to progress them onto trying lumpier foods, which I make, my son can eat it with no trouble, but my little girl gags everytime and vomits. She can feed herself biscuits (finger foods) with no trouble and can manage the stage 2 lumpier jars. Does anyone else have this trouble?

My son does the same thing however he doesn't vomit every time, but is always gagging. I think it's a texture thing for him. I hope it doesn't last long because I would really like to get him onto some new things. Good luck.

Sounds like she is a stubborn one. Do you let her feed herself the lumpier foods? If thats not it then I guess she will just want to eat the stage 2 foods for a little longer. Until she is ready for the other foods. Maybe you should try the graduates food. Cause if you don't flavor the food you are making it could be the bland taste that she doesn't like. The gradustes would have some flavoring to it.
