Hi all-I just have a question on burping. My daughter is 6 months and eats about three bottles a day (6oz max)--do any of you still burp. I haven't been making such an issue out of it lately, if she does fine. When I burp her she does get fussy and sometimes will give a little one. What are you guys doing?

my son has always been difficult to get a burp out of, so we don't generally try to burp him. Since he has started solids he tends to burp on his own.

I still burp my little boy. He doesn't give me a burp every time, but usually he does. He also burps on his own throughout the day, so if he doesn't burp with some pats, I don't get too concerned.

I usually give my son a couple of pats, but he pretty much burps on his own now. If they don't burp right away and aren't acting like their tummy hurts then they should be fine. :)

Yeah, i still burp my little one, but he is so active he starts fussing if i hold him too long, so i normally end up with milk/food splotches on my floor as he is crawling now already! Very icky to step into!

My husband is adamant that we burp our son, but honestly, he burps on his now so I don't really worry about it...especially since he is on baby food now and has learned to burp without us patting him. :)
