I had no complications during my pregnancy and my son is now 5 1/2 months and he hates being on his tummy. I think it's just natural for some kids to hate to be on their tummy. I feel you have nothing to worry about. My niece is now 2 years old and she was the same way. She is very smart for her age and has no problems. She started walking at the age 9 months.

i didn't have any complications, and my daughter doesn't like being on her belly either. it's likely just personality. but if your baby is rolling over, that means he's getting enough time on his belly to learn how to move, etc. don't worry, just keep trying. eventually he'll crawl, and then he'll make all the decisions about how he is positioned ;)

if you don't mind me asking did they give you any antibiotics before the surgery....i did hear that those kind of antibiotics can cause problems with baby's teeth but that could be causing tummy problems too
