My 5 month old son is now crying when my husband or myself are not with him. We have a babysitter for about 15 hours a week, and he cries persistently with her. Any ideas on how to ease the transition??

My 6 month old is having the same problem. It has been very hard on us (he has been doing it over a month). You are not alone. (I know I feel I am at times) A lot of people keep telling me to keep working with him, he will eventually grow out of it....it is just hard to go through

Sometimes letting your baby cuddle with a tee-shirt or blanket that smells like you will help. Eventually he will learn that he can survive a few hours without you, and it is good for him to learn that he'll be o.k. and that you do come back.
