Make cupcakes....add pureed spinach to the frosting (chocolate is best cause it masks the flavor of the spinach...Steal Chef boyardii idea...make pasta with sauce and add vegetables...also v8 splash is a fruit drink with vegetables in it....try these and let us know what happened...also who does he eat with? have them eat veggies in front of him...(my son will beg for and eat anything that's on my plate, i'm pretty sure most kids are like this) Hope i helped!

I think that often when our little ones can tell we want them to eat something they just won't. Maybe he's picked up on how much you want him to eat them and is rebelling a bit. My suggestion is don't try to hide them, just put some on his plate every day with the rest of his food and then let him eat what he wants from the plate. Don't try to get them into him and don't comment on his not eating them. Eventually he will realise he won't get a rise out of you for refusing them or throwing them on the floor and will actually try them and maybe even decide he likes them. Good luck

Mine either! I just don't get it her dad was that way too as a young child and now at age 30 I have to kind of force him. Sometimes she will eat some salad, or if she isn't paying attention I can sneek in some veggies in a stir fry with pasta which she loves but otherwise I am outta luck. The only other thing I have tried is the Yobaby meals like Rebecca Z. stated.

Masking the veggies in other foods has worked for us. My 17 month old loves the fruit/veggie yogurt and we've also found a few products at Whole Foods that hides the veggies in something more tasty, like Mac and Cheese, Salman Sticks, etc. She also loves the Gerber Graduates raviolis that have spinach/cheese, turkey/carrot, chicken/vegetable combinations. She also loves pizza and has eaten pizza with spinach and other veggies on top of it. We haven't had much luck giving her the veggies straight but I think once she has a whole set of chompers, she'll probably enjoy raw vegetables (I hope). Oh! We also put a drop of liquid vitamins in her Yobaby in the morning just so we know she's getting as many nutrients as possible.

What all veggies have you tried? After reading all these answers I feel so blessed that my son loves his fruits & veggies! I make all of his food, his favorite is sweet potatoes. I slice them into wedges and spray them with olive oil just to dampen them. Then shake some cinnamon over and bake for 30 mins on 375! sometimes I throw some apples in the mix and he loves it!
If you only offer your child healthy choices all the time they don't know what else is out there. Do you eat with your child? Maybe if he sees Mommy & Daddy eating veggies too he might want to eat them? My son wants to do everything we do right now. So we try to eat together when at all possible.
Good luck!

I don't know if this will work for you or not, but initially, the only way I was able to get my daughter to eat veggies was to stick to the jar baby food b/c all other veggies ended up on the floor; however, I didn't like continuing w/jar foods when she's got teeth & was eating other things, so I started trying soft veggies (canned is best) and I stopped watching her eat - that was the big thing. Once I started letting her eat canned peas, beans, carrots or corn, and stopped watching her every bite, she started eating veggies really well. Also, I start her meal w/the veggies and keep the other options out of view until she's eaten a serving of veggies. There are still days when she won't eat them all, but it's like night and day from 1 month ago. Best of luck to you!!

I have two girls, nearly 5 and 18 months. I put vege on both girls dinner plate every night. I think the key is not to stress over what they don't eat. Kids seem to pick up on vege-anxious vibes and dig their heels in. My oldest still has certain things she refuses to eat but thats ok, she still gets it put on her plate. One day she'll try it and decide if she likes it or not. With my youngest, she picks the vege up and has a nibble, puts it down, picks it back up etc. I just make sure that meal times are carefree.

Try the V8 splash. It has the same nutrients as vegetables but tastes better. I give it to my daughter all the time. I do water it down a little as it's kind of thick.

My girl digs her fruit, hates her veggies! I just keep trying different types of veggies and in the meantime, let her eat extra fruit. Also, V8 and Adam and Eve both make fruit/veggie juice blends. The Adam and Eve is lighter in texture and all natural but, harder to find and a little expensive.

My kids wouldn't eat spinach and I luv fresh spinach so after cookin it I would season it up with some garlic salt and fry it up with some cooked sausage and they would devour it. They still till this day tell you about that too mom remember how the only way u could get us to eat spinach lol

My daughter has just recently decided she doesnt care for vegetables, however we had stir fry the other night and she ate all the carrot, I think she liked it with the sauce, since then I have been giving her dinners that have a sauce and she seems to be picking at her veggies a bit more. If she doesnt eat her veggies i just try and up her fruit intake a bit more. also if you are worried, try baked beans. they're vegetables my daughter can't get enough of them.

My daughter is the same, (ex. of course when she's with her nanny, with whom she TOTALLY eats veggies - go figure!), but I have made recipes from the book The Sneaky Chef, and it worked. Also there's some sort of "veggie" smoothie-like stuff you can get at Trader Joe's & add it to juice or a smoothie, so at least he'll get some vegetables!? I'm not good in the kitchen so those are just ideas! Hope they help!

If your child likes yogurt...try a brand called "Blends" yogurts. They consist of fruits and veggies! I've tasted it and you can't taste the veggies.

Our nearly 3 year old is the same and he has been that way ever since birth??We even took him to the hospital to see a paeditrician as he just likes to drink water, milk,or only eats yoghurt,or ice blocks??We have tried games, everthing you can imagine but we just keep perservering with him..I think sometimes it's actually the texture they don't like but i don't know it's very frustrating!!

My almost 18mth old will not eat fresh veges either. The only way he gets them in his body is through canned food that already has them in it. I have tried everything aswell. He will only eat fruit every now and again too. I have given up even trying now. You could try smothering them in gravy or tomatoe sauce. Didn't work for me but it could do for you.

my daughter is exactly the same... since about 12 months she has refused any type of vegetable, she loves fruit but hates vegies... wont even eat mash potato... i was told that if she liked tuna to mix it with mash potato and gradually increase the amount of potato, but she ate it once and started refusing her tuna after that... i dont know what to do as i have also tried everything, and i always serve them up to her at dinner time, even though i know she wont touch them.. its fairly frustrating, i know how you feel Kelsie
