How do I get my 3 year old daughter to sleep in her own bed?

My daughter refuses to sleep in her own bed in her own room..she also refuses to play in her room. What should i do?

What does it matter where she plays? Are you with her in her room? If not, that's why she's not playing in there. They don't want to be alone. I wouldn't force it. Just let her play where she wants to.

To get her to sleep in her own bed you must be consistent and patient. It will take time but it will work. Do your bedtime routine with her and lay her in bed. When she comes out just put her back and continue to until she finally stays. The less words the better.

I tend to think anything with children is determination. I used to put my lil girl in her bed and sit and wait at the door until she falls asleep. At night sometimes she still gets up and crawls in beside me. I don't mind though because most of the time she sleeps on her own now. Be firm and have patience :-)
