My little guy is just hitting the 6 month mark! He is only weighing in at 14 lbs, and is now 27 inches long. Long & lean... I was just curious where we were in comparison to other babies his age? Care to share?

my son was born at 8lbs 14 oz. at 6 1/2 months old he weighed 22.14 lbs and 271/2 in long. the doc says he's healthy and nothing to worry about

My daughter will be 7 months on the 31st... And at her 6 month appt she weighed 19lbs. And 26 1/2 inches long.

At 6month check up my little angel was 15 lbs 10oz. Do you breastfeed? Breastfed babies tend to be smaller.

we just had our son's 6 mo appt last week. He is 18lbs 3 oz and 27 1/2 in long. i can't believe how much he has grown. He was 9lbs 8oz and 22 in at birth. He had a minor set back at 3 weeks. he had pyloric stenosis and lost some weight do to it. All better now and growing so fast.

At 6 months my Ava was 19lbs 14oz and she was 27 inches long. She is health and happy and I'm not concerned with her weight....she is moving around a lot well all that she can without crawling!!!

my daughter was born on 1st august and was 7lbs 3oz.......at her 6 month check she weighed 17lbs 8.5oz and was exclusively breast fed she is now on solids and is just over 7 months x :-)

Johnathan was 7lbs 2oz and 20 1/2 inches long when he was born and at his 6month checkup he is now 20lbs 2 oz and 27 1/2 inches long! He is my little fattie :)

My daughter is 6 months old. We just went for her 6 month check up yesterday. The doctor says she's the size of a 9 month old at 18 1/2 lbs and 27 inches. Your best bet is to ask the doctor at his appointment.

yeah my son is 27 1/2 inches and 16.4 lbs. i was concerned too but my pediatrician seems quite ok with his development

My son just turned 6 months and is well over 20 lbs. I havnt had him weighed in a couple months, the day after thanksgiving he was 19 lbs....you guys do the math. He liked to eat :D He is wearing 12 month cloths and those are starting to get small. :D Compared to his big sisters he is a chunk! Every baby is different.

My guy just turned 6 months and he is a little over 15lbs and 28 1/2 inches. I have been worried about weight his whole life, but the doctor says this is who he is and so long as his development is on course and he is not losing weight we are fine. I sympathize with being concerned!

My daughter was born August 22nd and weighed 9lbs 8oz. And now weighs 19lbs 6oz. I always heard that babies are meant to double their birth weight by the 6 month mark. Every baby is different though.

Our daugther was 6mths on the 15th and weighs 14lbs 6oz....she is petite...she is only 23 1/2 inches. We know she will be small, she is not a big eater ans both me and daddy are small framed people. She is now wearing 6-9months, 3 mths fit her too perfect.

My daughter turned six months old on the 22nd. We went for her check up on Monday and she weighed 15lbs 10oz and was 27in long. The doctor told me she was in the 50th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for height.
