All these are great tips! I also struggles losing weight. Last August I decided to try the AdvoCare 24 Day challenge since I had heard such good things about it. My first challenge I lost 7lb and I had so much more energy. I continued on products and did another cleanse 90 days later, lost another 6lb. Fast forward 6 mo and I had lost 25lb, dropped from a size 10 to 4 and had ran in 2 races that were 5k. I feel amazing now and so glad that I took the plunge. Since I like the products so much I decided to share the information with my friends and family. It has help me have a plan B income for my family and we're getting to go to Disney for the first time this year paid in cash! If you'd like to know more about AdvoCare or the 24 Day challenge please contact me or visit my site www.mysparkgirl.com . The challege isnt' for everyone but there are tons of products for you. Spark is my fav! Just mix with water and you get good energy for 4-5 hrs! Safe and effective!

Hey Ladies!

Are you looking to get healthy, lose weight, improve your energy? Sounds great, right?

Let me tell you a little background on how I got here. My husband and I started the program in May of 2013. We were truly shocked at how easy this was and amazed by our results! I lost 20lbs in two months, and he lost 40lbs in 3.5 months.

If the pounds weren't enough to make me thrilled, loosing 4 inches in my butt and hips had me ecstatic! haha. The best part is we haven't gained it back. Our view on food is different and we are more active.

It was so incredibly easy to keep on board with the program. There is less than 5 min. prep time for the food, some are just open and go! I loved that I could toss a snack in my purse and not rely on finding a "healthy choice" on the go. Not to mention, cooking once a day was a nice break.

Well, one thing leads to another and I decided to be a health coach through Take Shape For Life after I did the program. I want to help others create a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable. I've included my website in case you want to reference it at a later time.

You can see all of the meal options, read more about what this program is and what it entails at the website below. Stop by my facebook page and feel free to email me any questions. I am completely honest and open and want to help you reach your goals.

Thanks, Kristin

It's different with every woman. I was 110lbs and went up to 180lbs a week before delivery on August 13th. It's been 3 1/2 months and I've lost 50lbs (most of it was water weight). I did not breatfeed (only pumped for 1 1/2 months), I haven't gotten a full nights sleep since he's been born. My weight has been at a stand still for 3 weeks now so I'm sure there's a curtain point where your body will make you "work" for your old figure back :( I guess I'm gonna have to start working to get back into those old jeans...

Jamie,

610 is the mg on my bottle. You can take 2 capsules 2-3 times a day per the instructions on the bottle. Everyone I've heard this from says it helps. I tried doing a little a day at first and it didn't help. It was wasteful. But shen you step up to the max, your output works. You still need to be drinking all your water and make sure to up an extra pumping or feeding session. Try pumping after nursing to maximize the requirement you put on your breasts. Give it 2-4 days on a consistent basis. It will work, just be patient.

I was back down to pre-preg weight when Madison was 3 days old, flat tummy (no jello) by 7 days. I don't work out, but I chase and lift a 27 month old who weighs 30lbs and also a 14month old who weighs around 25lbs. I also walked 14km every Friday morning, pushing a toddler in a stroller up until 3 weeks before my daughter was born - she came 3 weeks early, and I had only gained 18lbs. (eating at least one big mac every week...oh how I craved them this pregnancy!!!!) I also exclusively breastfeed, which really helps flatten out that belly

Keep being physical, eat well, get sleep, drink water...and breastfeed!!! this will all help you in the long run.

Jamie,

I'd have to check the bottle for the mg but you can take 2 capsules up to 3 times a day. Also you can get mother's milk tea. You have to let it steep for 10 minutes I think. I had some the first baby and haven't ventured out for it. I think it also recommended to cover the cup as it steeps to get the full potency.

well when i was pregnant i had severe morning sickness ( i was in the hospital twice a week getting iv's so i could get some sort of nourishment). so now i weigh less than i did before i got preggo but what i've been doin to help it drop faster is well having a lot sex (my husband was deployed while i was pregnant so do i need to say anymore LOL) and when im rocking jp or even holding him i basically do calf raises and really focus on that which has been working great. it really is a good workout

During the following 7 days, you cannot consume anything with suger. The only 2 condiments you can use are salt and pepper.

You must rest 2 days and eat normally before starting another 7-day routine.

Daily Soup:

Cook a big pot of broth with chicken (half is fine) with nothing added.

Cut the following vegetables into bite sizes:

6 green onion, 2 bell peppers, 2~3 tomatoes, some celery, one cabbage, and 2 onions.

Spoon out the broth into another pot and add in the vegetables and cook until done.

Only add salt or black pepper as needed.

This is enough for 1 day. Eat all the vegetables along with the soup. Do not eat the meat!!!

You can drink this soup whenever you feel hungry and it will not make you gain any weight.

(You must have all the vegetables as ingreidents for the chemistry to work)

Day I:

Eat only fruits and the soup all day. Absolutely no bananas.

Day II:

Eat only vegetables (no beans). You can reward yourself w/ a bake potato w/ some butter.

No Fruits today.

(you can either have salad w/o dressing or boil the vegetables. I stir-fried mine)

Day III:

Eat Fruits, vegetables, and the soup. No potato!

(you should have lost 3-5 lbs. by now if no rules were broken)

No drink w/ suger is allowed.

Day IV:

Eat only bananas (3 pcs max), 2% fat milk, and soup.

You'll need to drink at least 8 glasses of water today to wash away the calories.

Your body needs the potassium, carbohydrates, protein, and calcium in banana and milk

It'll also help you fight the urge to consume sweets.

Day V:

Eat only beef(0.5~1.75lbs.) and 6 tomatos. (You may cook them together)

Agagin, must drink at least 8 glasses of water to wash away the acid in the meat.

Must drink at least one bowl of soup.

Day VI:

Eat plenty of beef and vegetables as you wish.

Indulge yourself in some nice steaks!

Must drink at least one bowl of soup.

Day VII:

Eat brown rice and vegetables. Drink fresh-blended juice (w/ no suger added)

Must drink at least one bowl of soup.

I was only on this diet until day 6 and was forced to stop when we had fire hazard here in so. Cal.

but I lost a solid 6.5 lbs.!

I feel your pain! i lost 25 lbs of what i put on in the first 6 weeks and now it doesnt feel as if i have lost much since. Its ALL around my middle, my thighs and legs are triming down slowly due to heavy carseats and lifting him up and down and walking alot. My midwife told me that it takes up to a year or more afterwards for you abdominal muscles to full come back together. they separate in the middle to allow for the babies growth. She advised against full on sit ups or crunches and said mini crunches are best. The best way to tell if the muscles have come back together is to lie on your back and place your pointer and index finger in the middle of your abdomen a little above the belly button and gently press down and then do a mini crunch with your fingers still in place. You will be able to feel your muscles move and see how far apar they are.

I'm having issues now though but i thinks its because my cycle finally kicked back on yesterday. I'm so large I'm gonna have to lose over 200 lbs so I have a long way to go. Total since right before the baby I've lost 45 lbs! Lets encourage each other ladies!! WE CAN DO IT!

i have also heard that breastbreeding sometimes makes you retain that last little bit of weight. the body keeps it just in case it needs the extra fat. i am sure that you have heard of it when people have an eating disorder. its kinda like the same thing

I completely understand! I lost 25lbs in the first 4 weeks and haven't lost a pound since! My son is 11 weeks today. I am on weight watchers and talked to my leader last week about it. She said that it just takes time after a baby. Not what I wanted to hear!! I always lost weight so fast in the past and now I am working my tail off and getting nowhere. I also joined hot yoga classes in addition to working out at my gym. At least if my weight isn't going to move I can feel good. I do like weight watchers though. At least I feel like I am doing the right thing and just waiting for my body to catch up!! I will keep you guys in my thoughts and hope we all get where we want to be in the near future!!

I think in order to lose weight you have to get a good night sleep too, a solid 6 - 8 hours. It also takes your body a week of good sleep to recouperate from bad sleep. It also helps to have your big meal in the middle of the day, not at night. Breastfeeding 100% helps at first but remember it took 9 months to put that weight on, give it time.

if possible, during the day do some exercises with baby combining playtime for baby and exercise for you. do walking lunges down hallways, go up and down th stairs a few times, or have baby on your stomach while you do some crunches. be creative. combine cardio and strenght training in your workout too. it burns fat and builds muscle.

#1 is not to get stressed about it. when you are stessed it takes more exercise to burn fat. your body goes through a few chages to become a mother and you will probably carry that weigh a bit differently now too, more on the hips, thighs or tummy.

if by three months you haven't seen any changes in your body i would talk to a trainer at your gym and to your physician or a nutritionist about your diet. they may have a few ideas of what would work best for you and what you want to achieve.

Good luck, and give it time, it's the holidays!

I'm in the same situation as you. It's getting really frustrating b/c I go to the gym, watch almost everything I eat and I'm not seeing the scale budge at all. I read somewhere that many women don't start to lose weight until around 6 months after the baby. I'm just trying to stick with the plan but if anyone has any good suggestions, I'd love to hear them too.
