i just think that its the age. Miles is 21mth old and used to eat everything that was put in front of him, now he hardly eats anything which is very annoying. I have been trying to cut out giving him his bottle, only at bedtime as milk is a good filler. He eats when he wants to, so i don't stress too much.

my son dips everything in ketchup. even veggies... its always our fallback if he decides he doesn't like something, which happens frequently.

my 21 month old is incredibly picky, but i always give him exactly what we r having in the beginning of our meal and after he picks thru and decides hes not going to eat i will offer fruit and other things that supplement the vitamins he misses from lack of eating at dinner. but i have found super good alternatives like these french fries they have at walmart that aren't really french fries, they are veggies like carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. but they have the same texture and general taste so my 21 month old is non the wiser lol. good luck and if u hear anything new i am willing to try anything too. lets keep in touch on the subject

My 9 year old is fussy eater but if he did not eat the meal i gave him then he got no snacks between the meales. The other thing I did was let him choose the meal every other day if he had eaten the full meal that I had choosen but asking him to choose a veg on my meal choose and then only putting 1/2 a teaspoon or so of all veg on the plate and prasing him for eating it. now He requests veg and will eat a bigger porsition .

Good luck

I have issues getting my toddler to eat veggies, but I just offer fruit at breakfast and snacks and at all other meals she is offered a vegetable. Sometimes she tries them, not always. I also make sure I am eating healthy in front of her, because kids learn best by example.
