My sons name is Oliverr Blaize, I call him Ollie, Obiee, and my personal favorite and one I use the most is OllieBee. As for silly names; I call him Monster usually, also Punk, Booger/Boog/Bug, Baby, Baby Bee, Goober, BoogerButt, StinkerButt, and anything else that pops in my head.

My 3 year old, David, has all kinds of nicknames. My mother used to call him Peanut. I call him Monkey, Munchkin, and little dude, mister...he gets called "brat" a lot. He'll also answer to Batman, especially while he's wearing his mask. If he has that mask on, he will indignantly insist that his name is not David, but Batman.

My oldest (12) is named Austin. He has been called everything from Monster to Bubba to Ott (actually a short form of Austin). Christopher (5) has been called Monkey-Butt, Kit, Topher, and (because he and his father were being goofy) Albert. I love the name Christopher, but hate Chris, so he never gets called by that name. Nicholas (2) has been called Nicky and Puppy (because he sounded like a newborn puppy when he was a newborn). Alyssa (8 months) has been called Sissy, Missy Sissy, and Princess.

Alexander is 16 and we just call him Alex, Al or Ally.

Jacqueline is 13 and we call her Jackie and Jack of course, but when she was born I told my mom that she was my little jackpot and that just stuck. She still answers to Jackpot and even refers to herself as Jackpot when she talks to her little brother.

Ronnie is 4 and he goes mostly just by his given name and sometimes Ronster or Ronman.

Rachel is 1 and has been called things like Rach, Peanut, Stinker, Shorty, Chubberoo and Munchkin

We call mine Bug...Bugaloo, Boogaloo...some combination of that. When he was born, he was so small I said he was as cute as a Bug and it just stuck. When he's cranky, I call him Crankopotomus. LOL. His given name is Dominic and my family calls him Nick because none of us likes the nickname Dom. My in-laws call him Doc.

My sons uncle calls him Willie Wilber. His name is William. I dont know where he gets that from but thats what has stuck. I call him Will, punkin, monkey, turkey, little phil (but thats reserved when he is acting just like his daddy) squirt and froggie. He loves to just hop hop hop. As far as the animal nick names It starts when he is acting like a monkey just climbing and trying to hang upside, etc. I started calling him turkey when is being funny. He tries to make me laugh all the time. All he wants is mommas undivided attention.

My little boy is called Jacob Joseph. I did this intentionally knowing full well that kids will give themselves nicknames as would their school buddies. Most people call him Jacob, some call him Jake and some call him JJ. Me personally I call him Jacobina... because while I was pregnant I had already chosen his name and everyone said to me what if it's a girl... simple... Jacob would be Jacobina and it has stuck with me ever since... poor kid. Although... get this... he calls me baby not mummy! He knows I am his mummy and if you ask him where's mummy he points to me. If you ask him to say mummy he just says baby! Kids are crazy little people.

My son's name is Jaxsen so we call him "Jax"..I call him "Pup" too.He's my little sweetheart and I say tht to him when he needs special time...His brothers call him "Fat Fat" and his two oldest sisters call him "Florida"..this is from Florida Evans on Good Times. She has those hot dog rolls in the back of her neck and he did too when he was a lap baby ( he doesn't have them anymore) but they still call him that...lol =)

My son's name is Dalton But we called him Daltie ( his cousin couldn't say his name ) untill he was 10 or so and now it seems like he is just Dalt or buddy or Bud and my Daughter's name is Hunter Jade her nickname that really seems to have stuck with her so far are Magoo ( when she first started crawling she was for ever crawling into walls ) Peanut and Hunni bear cause when she gets mad she is a real bear ! I know in time it will change she is only 22 months so she has a long way to go !

My Daughter's name is Zoey and i call her "Angel Face" because the first time i saw her after she was born, i thought she looked just like an angel. Her Nana (grandma) calls her "sweets", one of the boys in her daycare room calls her "Zo-Zo" her God~Mother calls her Zoo-Zoo, and she calls herself "Oey" it's no wonder she even knows what her name really is!!!

My daughter's name is Alexandria and everyone calls her Alex. When I was pregnant, I said I would call her Ali or Lexi, but when she was born and started developing a personality she just seemed like an Alex. Now she knows her name is Alexandria, but calls herself Alex. She is almost 2 and when she was a baby we called her all kinds of names, like Booga Bear, but now that she is getting older, we don't want to confuse her, so we call her Alex.

Nicknames are a pretty big thing in my family for some reason. My name is Kari, but my parents have called me Louise or Weez most of my life. So I knew that my kids would get some kind of nickname sooner or later. My daughter's name is Abigail Cyndia. As soon as she was born of course we started calling her Abi. But, we also call her boober goober which got shortened to boobers. But, I keep telling my husband that we can't call her that forever. We also call her Abskabibles. But, mostly Abi or Boobers. She also has an Aunt who sometimes calls her Cynder Abi.

My son is Zachariah William. From the moment of his birth he became Mr. Guy or Big Guy. My daughter would only call him big guy for about 6 months after he was born. We also call him Zac, McWilliam, Mr. Mistoffelees, and Mr. Stinkerton. But lately we call him Zacachoni. Our daughter sings Yankee Doodle and instead of macaroni she says Zacachoni. So it stuck.

As for Xavier. I think that is a great name, and I don't think there is anything wrong with calling him that!

ok, with me, we had so many names we wanted to give to give to Andrea, right from me, her dad n her grand mothers. so she ended up with 4 names. this meant that calling her all of them wd confuse her so we decided to make a short names of all her names into KALA which happens to be a name of its own thou with a different spelling. this made her grannies happy bse it was an easy name 4 them to call out as compared to kanyunyuzi Andrea Lynette and Abwooli so it worked 4 us. that is how ma gal got her swt nickname. i tried to stop her nannies from calling her names so we stuck to kala.

well my daughters name is Isis, my mom calls her isicles during the winter and everybody else calls her isis, although once in a while we will call her 'the lil mohawk' because when she was a few months older her hair stood up like a mohawk but once she got a bit older her hair stopped sticking up and my friend calls her 'buttons' because her nose is cute as a button lol and i call my daughter 'baby' or 'sweetie', i tried calling her cousin 'sweetie' than she got mad at me and i asked if its only her i should call that and she said 'yes' lol, so shes the only sweetie lol and i think nicknames come from what you feel is right to call somebody in a nice way or funny way, its really what you think and theres nothing with xavier, my friend has a son named xavier as well and i call him by his name, as for myself my friends either call me by my name or my old friends from years ago call me 'charlie' cause thats how i introduced myself and 'charlie' is short for my middle name or they call me 'candii' =) hope you can find a good nickname for your son =)

My baby's name is Reuben.We call him booben, spewben, or pooben. depending on which of these he is doing at the time, lol. My daughter Pippa gets called Pippa Pop-off. Amelia is Millie, millie Moo cow or Morbid Millie (she has an unnatural obsession with dead things), Tobi is Tobes, and Elijah get Lij ,most of the time

Our second child, Miles is known as Grizz, grizzles cause he seems to have grizzled since a very early age. Even his brother Samuel calls him it and he answers to it so i think it may have stuck. Samuel gets shortened to Sam, Sammy, Sam-man. Its up to you with nicknames as long as they aren't too awful :0)

Our daughter's name is Lilliom Asenath. It's a bit of a mouthful, so friends and family know her as Lilli. Other nicknames she has are Lillers, Lil, and Lils... as far as nicknames that are unrelated to her given name, there are Bruno (she reminded us of a mobster when she was a newborn) and Punchy Nutkins. I'm sure there are more, but I can't remember them now. Quite often, I just call her Baby. She refers to herself as Baby or Lilli, though with prompting she will call herself Nininum. We also call her Stinkyface on occasion because she loves the book "I Love You, Stinkyface".
