Not one bit. But then I have never liked my body. But even more so now after. The hormones did a number on me.

I had a c-section and now have an apron as I call it. The skin just hangs over the scar. Looks terrible but it was my baby's bedroom for 9 months and may be the next one's room also so ggrrrr just gotta live with it.

My first pregnancy I was about 117lbs, i'm 5'3'' so for me that was "normal" I gained 20lbs with him and then dropped about 30lbs immediately. I EBF him until he was 11 months old and then I was able to gain only about 7lbs back.

My second pregnancy I was about 113lbs and gained about 20lbs again. Ok so I make small babies and I have a small frame! I also EBF him and I still am. I lost a total of about 40lbs. Ok so that puts me under 100lbs, yes all you wonderfully jealous women now I know I suck! But I'm NOT by any means happy with it. None of my clothes fit me, I feel like I'm swimming in them and it makes me look and feel like I don't take care of myself, but the thing is, I eat all the right stuff I don't exercise often or anything. I've got a high metabolism and my son, literally, drained me every day to the point that I felt like I never had more than 10 minutes to myself, so he has completely drained any and all nutrients I put into my body, I've learned to eat more and more throughout the day to keep him satisfied. But still like I said I'm still stick thin. I was in size 5 jeans before I had him and I'm now in a size 0. I know it's great but if you were me you'd realize that I don't feel the same way about myself as all you girls think I do. I don't like to show off my "body" I feel that I need to hide the fact that I'm so thin. It's hard to deal with but I'm showing signs of gaining weight back. So for all you jealous women out there, you can send me some of your weight I'd GLADLY accept it...lol..

Ya I still have 20 pounds to lose!! I'm only 5' so 20 lbs is A LOT... I joined Tae Kwon Do and it's helped me tone my body a bit so that helps but I'm so frustrated that I can't lose any weight. I'm still BF so that doesn't help but it seems like no matter what I eat (or don't eat) and even though I'm carrying around a 20 lbs boy I just can't lose...grrr. Also my belly won't firm up:-(

I didnt gain much weight when i was pregnant, and i was all baby. when tyler was born my belly shrunk considerably. Even though i was extremely lucky i hate my belly!!! But when i look at my son i think of what i went through for such an amazing little boy! who cares what you look like, your child will love you no matter what shape or size you are.

I lost all my pregnancy weight whilst BF but put it all back on and more when I was made redundant. Now I'm working again there's never time to workout.

Not happy at all with flabby mummy belly.... if anything I've got bigger as I have no time between work and caring for my family. I need an extra 5 hours in the day to do the stuff I want to do! Joys of parenting don't always equal the killer body I suppose!

don't you just hate it when complaining about your extra weight and flappy skin you get answerded: " it 's not a big deal you just had a baby" ! ? OK i had a baby it was one year ago it's great and then what?

does it mean that beiing a MOM denies you the right to be a Women ? to feel comfortable about the way you look ?

i agree with theresa:  having a baby is not an excuse,... especially one year after having your child...

so i guess WAR is still on against those stuborn extra pound... LOL

I am NOT happy with my body. I was 145lbs pre-pregnancy. I topped out at 215lbs before giving birth. After birth I was 190lbs. I brestfeed for 4weeks but it was extremely painful so I had to stop. I also have an IUD that was put in at my 6week checkup which is the accussed cause for my not being able to loose wieght. Still here a year later I am up and down between 180-190. I have tried everything to loose this excess wieght but nuthin seems to work. I've ate healthy light meals, excersise as much as possible after work, drink plenty of water...pretty much all that I can think of to try to loose pounds but like I said for me nothing seems too work. My boobs are huge, and it looks like a cat dug it's claws in my stomach and fell to the floor. I miss my old body very much, it wasn't perfect but I was happy with it. I get very down about my apperance and my bf tells me all the time that he doesn't care about the way my body looks compared to be for only because I had given birth to our daughter (other wise he probably wld care lol).

I'm still fighting to get the extra weight off. For some reason, no matter what I do it just stays put. I also gained weight when breastfeeding- my doc said I was one of the lucky ones that hoards the weight when nursing. I have about 20 pounds to go and I'm hoping to shed them by my 10th wedding anniversary in December.

This is my 4th baby. I breastfed my 3rd for 2 years until she weand herself. This baby weaned herself just a couple weeks before her first birthday!! I was sad. I had been lowering my carb intake for a couple months before she started weaning herself so i was losing a good bit of weight. I am 5'9 and before i found out i was pregnant with my 4th i was 218 lbs. I gained 25 lbs and at my 1 week check up ( ended up in c section this time and had to have my incision checkd) I was 217 lbs. Around the time Addie was 8 months old I started back on a modified version of Atkins. Not as strict tho because I knew she needed the extra carbs thru my milk. I lost down to 201 before she weaned herself and since she has been weaned a month ago I am down to 187. My Ideal weight for my height is between 155-165. So I still have about 20 lbs or so t go. Since discovering our family is intolerant to Gluten and some of us have Celiacs, we have eliminated Gluten from our diets too, so now I am doing low carb/ Gluten free. My sisters family is following it and so is mine. My sister has lost over 50 lbs by eliminating gluten. Amazing what a food allergy can do to your figure. So far since I have started Gluten free I am down 8 lbs in a week and a half.!! I DID notice that fater a week or two of the baby weaning herself off breast milk I have lost that 10 lbs and hopefully will continue to lose until i reach my personal weight goal of 165 -170 or a great fitting size 9/10, which would be perfect for my height.

I gained over 40 lbs with my little girl and it was coming off consistently with not much effort from me. I mainly watched what I was eating and would walk for about an hour 2 to 3 times each week. In March, I was about one size above my pre-baby size when I found out I'm pregnant again! So, I packed away all those clothes that I love and pulled out the maternity wear.

oh honey I am so not happy with my body....I went and got myself preggo again 2 months after having Rory! So now I'm dealing with BOTH pregnancy weights! LOL I started at 214 was 227 when I had Rory and then lost that weight was at 210 when I got pregnant with Alyssa and was 232 when I delivered her. I'm down to 198 and I'm MISERABLE! My whole body shape changed and I'm carrying weight differently now. It SUCKS! LoL and so help me god ... if 1 more persons uses the excuse ... "well you just had a baby" ... I'm gonna deck them!!! LOL I don't feel it's an excuse to me ya know. I just want to feel normal. But then again I guess they can't really say well ya you're just fat get over it!! LOL And I've never actually lost all pre pregnancy weight. I was 110 when I got pregnant with Emma, my 7 year old. I went up to 206 when I delivered her and have not seen under 150 in 7 1/2 years now!!! I would LOVE to be 150 again lol. And with her my body just expanded EVERYWHERE I was only 18 when I had her and all my other friends have high metabolism and lose their weight pretty much instantly like before leaving the hospital. Not me! With her I really noticed it in my back/love handle area and my thighs and of course my tummy. With Rory it was boobs and butt. With Alyssa, as I said before my body totally changed, and I can't figure out where all the weight is!! LOL It's been 2 years since I wasn't preggo so it's hard to say what my actual prepreggo figure really was. But at this point my boobs sag WAY more than they used to, as does the butt!! LOL the thighs are still huge but the love handles went down. IDK it's def changes though and none of which i'm happy about...

but now that i've given you probably TMI lol i'll just end this post lol

Are you still nursing? I COULD NOT get rid of my last 10-15 pounds until I STOPPED nursing at a year. Some women drop weight fast while nursing and some keep their fat reserves. It just depends on the woman!

i've lost ten ponds since i stopped nursing.  i still have abour ten pounds of baby weight, but i've always been so thin.  for a year before i got pregnant i tried to gain weight so that the baby would be healthier.

I managed to lose the weight in 4 months by taking the baby out for 3-4km walks every day. In the winter when I couldn't use the stroller I would bundle him up, strap him into a carrier and still do the walk. I was worried because I couldn't breastfeed and had I c-section (I've heard it's harder to lose the weight after the surgery). The only thing I'm unhappy with is the stretch marks on my butt, and that my butt is not nearly as 'perky' as it was.

Not quite happy but, getting there! I guess I was fortunate to have a good figure with out really doing much before I got pregnant but, at 35 it is harder to bounce back. I try to eat healthier and less, I walk about 3 miles every morning and do some crunches etc while my daughter throws toys at me! I am definitely curvier than before and have found that clothes that fit well make a huge difference in how I feel about my body image. So, I'll keep working on it and stop trying to fit into those stupid skinny jeans!!

I lost 16lbs with in a month of having him then I joined Weight watchers online. Almost a year later and I have lost 55lbs. I want to lose another 35 at least. I am lighter now then I was when I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter. So that I am happy about and can fit in clothes that I wore before I was pregnant with her. I just need to drop the rest of the weight!

When I got pregnant with my oldest son 6 years ago I was 135 lbs and a size 6. After my oldest son I couldn't seem to drop below 170 lb and a size 12. Now, after my second kiddo I'm down to 189 lb and wearing a size 12 again, but that's only through constant diet and excercise. If I eat a snack sized hershey bar I seem to gain 4 pounds. Besides that, I still have excess skin around my midsection. My breasts are bigger, which is nice, and the stretchmarks from both my kids faded shortly after they were born, so I have been blessed in some aspects. It's just frustrating seeing a closet full of beautiful size 6 clothes that I fear I'll never wear again.

It is exatcly a year later and my body is as it was pre-baby. A little more flippy-floppy (my skin anyway). I have to tone up more often, it seems like it fades. I don't workout or diet. Sometimes I guess I am just more active than other times (running errands, playing with him) I try to eat as many fruits and veggies as I can, but I don't go out of my way. It would just be too exhausting.
MY SECRET THOUGH IS THIS: The majority of my weight loss happened when I took that Special K cereal challenge (the one with strawberries). I was also taking my vitamins cuz I was breast feeding. That made the pounds just drop. I got sick of it though, but if I feel that I need to drop more, that's what I plan to do. It's my secret weapon!!

I bf (well, pumped full time) and ate well, I walked everywhere and I couldnt stop gaining, my doctor told me i was jsut depressed and that's why i am gaining! but I was soooo happy! so i switched doctors and they did a blood test and found out my thyroid was terribly low and was for a while, hence the uncontrolable weight gain!

I am now abot 135 so I still need to lose about 15lbs. My stomach is flabby, my butt fell, my boobs are not perfectly perky anymore and I actually have thighs. I've accepted that I'll never get back into a size 2 jean bc of my new hips but I would love to lose the last 15lbs to feel better about myself. I know it is more me than anything else. I gained 70lbs when I was pregnant which is really a lot when you consider that I was 130lbs pre-pregnancy! I would guess I still weigh about 150lbs which is ok with me (I was too skinny at 130 - I'm 6 feet tall). I was pretty unhappy with my body until a couple months ago when things started to kinda turn around. I would definitely like to have a firmer stomach but I'm not stressed about it anymore. Breastfeeding certainly does help with the weight loss but I think most people (myself included) will need to exercise too!
