Peeing thru the diaper at night!! Help!!

We watch how late he drinks.. He'll be changed at dinner which is 7:30pm and he has his last cup of milk or juice or whatever at that time. By the time we change him before bed at 9:30pm most of the liquid has gone through him. When he gets up at 7:30am he's about half full. Hardly ever wets the crib, he's in President's Choice size 5's too.

I also use the Huggies Overnight for my son because he was soaking his bed every night before that. We love them! He still gets a little damp every once in awhile if he had a lot to drink the night before or if he gets too cold during the night, but for the most part they work really well!

My son is also 17 months and I was having the same problem. I started using Huggies overnight and I haven't had any problems since. You could try giving him his last drink an hour before bed at the latest and then make sure you put the overnight diaper on right before you lay him down.

As much as I hate to admit it my guy pees thru too. I'm already using Huggies, the overnights, and a size up but he still does it. The only way to stop this I've found is to change him in the middle of the night. He will wake up cold and uncomfortable so I just automatically get up and change him. He will go right back to sleep, usually once the dry diaper is on him. This keeps him from wetting his clothes(and when he does I have his pajama drawer right in reach of his changing area for quick clothing changes) and his sheets.

My son does the exact same thing!! He is also 17 months, but 27 lbs. We actually are using size 5 diapers but at night we use the Huggies Nightime diapers and it definately helps! We actually also made a new rule as of last week: no juice/drink after 7pm!! (he usually goes to bed by 8:30-9pm. We LOVE Huggies!! Pampers are ok but we've also had nothing but bad luck with Luvs. Also before closing the diaper, make sure his 'little guy' pointed down! This helps too!

Huggies Overnights are awesome and I've never had a problem with my son or daughter with night time accidents. You can also try a size up like you mentioned.

Hi i have found the same thing these oast few months with oliver. changed to a 4+ at night and it still happens. When i take his nappy of b4 bath time i try to let him have a little freedom to n we try the potty and run around for a little while more often than not he wees in the bath bofre he gets out but this doesn't seem to help the nappy problem. I think its just one of those anoying things thats just going to keep happening :(

pull ups over nights. my daughter was doing the same thing so we put in overnight pull ups, they work wonders.

Huggies Overnight diapers work great for this. My son has wore them to bed for several months so I dont have to wash his sheets every morning. They can be hold a lot. Trust me. You can find them at Walmart and I've found coupons for them before too.

I had the same problem with both my son and my daughter. I used Pampers with my son overnight and we use Huggies Overnights with my daughter. Since we've started using the Huggies, she has not leaked once during the night. She's also 17 months old.

Oliver pees thru at night too. We use Huggies overnights, but he still leaks out He's on Lasix due to a heart condition so he pees a lot more than an average child...we've decided that we're going to put the diaper on backwards since he sleeps on his stomach. Maybe since the back is a bit bigger than the front it'll hold it in a bit better....don't know if it's going to work, but well worth a try =)

My son is almost 17 months also and weighs about the same as your son. Hes in size 5 huggies already because i think theyre a little more roomie anyways. he was peeing through the night in those so i started putting him in size 5 of the huggies overnights. theyre a little more absorbent and he hasnt peed through since...

I SWEAR by Huggies. They have always worked for my son and I would never ever use anything else. I've tried other brands because they were cheaper but I hated them all.

Try Hughes overnight diapers, they work pretty well. I have a son too and sometimes he still leeks out. I think it's because of the penis... ?

my son does this as well... you can try using pampers, that has helped some... or if you can find them, get the plastic diaper covers, that way he isn't getting his bedding and clothes wet. hope this helps some
