So I want to get my daughter something bigger for her birthday, we already have a few small toys. I was thinking the Fisher Price Kitchen, but I am not sure. What is everyone getting there little one for their birthday?

I'm getting my son a child size picnic table. There's a guy near me that builds wood ones (really nice!). It's small enough that he can use it this year (until Fall) but still large enough that he can use for another couple years also. You can get them online also for about $125 and up. I would suggest a wooden one because mold can get on the plastic ones where the nuts and bolts are. We're also getting him a tiny roll-behind suitcase so that he can be like mommy and daddy when we fly.

I wish I could help. I have no idea what to get my little girl. lol. I'm obviously having a party for her, but my mother says we really have the party more for ourselves than our kids, which is likely true. lol. What do you get for a baby who doesn't even know it's their birthday? lol. Probably a swing set, since she loves those at the park

Well I have a little boy, but I am probably going to get several small things since my son doesn't stay entertained with anything for very long.

I went to Kid to Kid (resale shop) to see if it was any good and I found a cute little recliner chair. It's here now and its a gift he can use for a couple years plus it was only $30. I thought the party was enough but I couldn't resist the chair!

There are a few really nice, and quite large, doll houses at Toys 'R' Us. They are pretty neat and very modern. I've had my eye on one for my daughter and I figured it would be the perfect first birthday present. We were visiting family and her cousin had one, she sat there and played with it for 2 hours, all by herself!!
