I was wondering if any of you would have any suggestions for games for a 2year olds birthday? my daughter will be turning 2 on the 17th next month and i was wondering what kind of games would be good to hold for her birthday? We live in a small town called lillooet and the weather has been hot, its always been in the 30's in the afternoons so i thought i would ask if anybody knew any games toddlers can play? i havent actually been to a toddlers birthday before so this is a first for me, any ideas would be good, oh and we cant exactly use our back porch just yet because the boards are starting to break and dont really have a yard for the kids to play in so might have to be indoor games?

what about pass the parcel, and put a sweet or something between each layer, or get a paddling pool with a little bit of water in it, some plastic dusks and put some hooks on them and get then to hook the ducks and each 1 has a number on the bottom of it relating to a prize.

My sons 2nd bday party is Saturday and we are doing a circus/carnival theme. The games we are going to play are pin the nose on the clown which I bought online. The duck pond game. I just bought 10 rubber ducks and put stars on the bottom of half, gonna put those in a bucket of water. The kids will pick a duck and if they get one with a star they get a prize. Ring toss game with 10 2-liters of pop set up like bowling pins and the rings are those round pools toys that sink to the bottom of the pool. My mother in law made a bean bag toss too. She just painted a clown and some balloons on a piece of wood and cut out holes, it's really cute. We should have about 10 kids at his party ranging from age 2-7. good luck!!

I made up a silly game for my sons bday party. I'm going to tape a small package of candy to my phone, page the phone and whoever finds it can have the candy. Naturally, the other kids will all get candy in their little giftbags, but the winner will get 2!

I found a website the other day (can't remember the name right now) but it suggested that you put a bunch of items in a water table and ask them to fish out specific ones, like ask them to find all the ducks or something. It's very age appropriate.
