My daughter at 9+ mos. has no sign of teeth, loves to feed herself, but is resisting being fed the pureed baby food. However, she chokes on anything remotely chunky and hasn't gotten the idea of chewing yet. I've got all the baby crackers, cookies, puffs, doodles, etc. I can find but would like to giver her something that is not processed bread. Any suggestions for food that might dissolve more easily? Thanks!

Bananas are great, I squish them in my fingers and then give them to my son ( or just put them right in his mouth). We recently tried peas and he LOVES them. We have tried cooked sweet potato pieces and he didn't really like them, same with carrots.
Have you tried thicker baby foods? Or thicken them with a cereal ( oatmeal, barley, rice). Wyatt really hates the watery baby food right now, and is basicly on stage 3 for some things.

try cut up bananas or cooked pears or apples that are cut up. they also have those mesh sack things that are made for that (worked well but didn't come clean).
