I think the washcloth idea is a good one...I'm gonna try that. At night I haven't had too much of a problem. IF I see she is having trouble nursing , then I give her some motrin.

Me TOO!! My son is also very unsettled. He is waking up in the middle of the night screaming. Tons of drool and hands all the way in his little mouth.



I have teeting rings but he can not grasp them yet. Anyone have ideas for the night?? Anything working for any of you?

My son is doing the same thing at 3 and half months. He tries desperately to get his whole fist in his mouth. I used to think that he was hungry, but now I know he likes the feeling of it against his gums. He also started biting me while I nurse him-ouch! A good idea I read in a magazine is to wet a corner of a washcloth and stick it in the fridge or freezer. Then baby can suck on the cold corner while holding the rest of the cloth and it is not cold on his little hands. My son can't quite grasp things completely yet, so I'm looking forward to trying this out. Until then, he has discovered his thumbs and chews away.

I believe my son is teething also. He is 3 1/2 months old. He spits his bottle out of his mouth and cries like it hurts. He usually loves to eat. Plus he is also drooling. My family says it is early for him but that's the only thing I can think of. I gave him some Tylenol infant drops and it calmed him down. My husband gives him the baby Orajel and it seems to help too.

YES! My daughter has been drooling all over the place. She loves it when I rub her gums with me finger. My biggest problem is getting her to sleep on her back--she HATES it. Anyone else going through that?

My son is too! He's trying to eat his hand all the time! :-) He's slobbering all over the place. He doesn't really like the cold teething ring though. It's cold on his hands. I'm getting him some baby oragel or ambusal today.

I do, my son is 4 months old and he is really unsettled most of the time, cries a lot and drools all over the place. I have bought him some little teething rings, the ones you put in the fridge..I'm from Australia btw..and I have bought him some baby teething gel that I rub on little gums constantly. That has been a big help, but he is still very unsettled most of the day.



I thought that my son was way too young as well, he has been teething for about 3 weeks now, but my doctor says that is defenently what is happening.
