I read that babies love it, but my son will say otherwise, he hates it and i takes a long time to calm him down after I try.

its hit and miss for us here too! Some times we like it, sometimes we dont. Ruby started rolling over a few weeks ago, and i think when she can't roll over she suddenly gets very frustrated!!! I also think she wants to see more now, and is getting very nosy, when she's on her tummy she cant see as much!

Torture time...he's a little better now, but he can't grasp the concept that if he used his arms to support him, it'd be easier on his neck. His legs and arms just flail around in the air. But, he does love sitting up.

if you are trying to work their neck muscles (although this doesn't help with the turning over process) you can get a bouncer. my boy HATES tummy time and starts screaming as soon as i start to put him onto his tummy so i never know what to do. i do use his rainforest jumperoo from fisher price quite often and atleast that helps with his neck!

Today I put Avah on her tummy on the boppy pillow after we got home from daycare (they had just fed her right before I got there) and she fell asleep. So far she has been sleeping there for an hour! I have found that that is the best time! Otherwise, she doesn't like it very much! I also give her her paci so that does help too!

so a few days ago Megan started no liking being on her tummy on our chest!? She wanted to be spun around or snuggled on her side. She'll lay on the bobby or sit in her bumbo for a few minutes but other than that it feels like torture. Ugh!

Avah just did 20 minutes for me, and then started crying like mad, so I got her off, but I think she would have gone longer, or even have fallen asleep there, but she was hungry!

It's hit or miss here...Ashton likes tummy time if he's laying over the boppy...he doesn't like to be flat

Avah doesn't really like it very much. She screams. She hasn't figured out how to roll over either. I will put her on a boppy pillow on her tummy and then she is okay for alittle while until she starts to slid down. I will also let her sit in a bumbo seat. She likes that.

well jp's now able to lay on his tummy for longer times but he just tries to suck his fingers and isnt the least bit interested in lifting his head. he still hates it but i think it's getting better

Up until yesterday we were totally in the Torture Time group.... then he decided to roll over! Now every time I put him on his tummy he rolls over. I guess we're done with tummy time now, lol!

Audrey is the same way. I can put her down and she will either enjoy herself for a few minutes to half an hour or scream her head off as soon as she realizes what is coming.

haha! how cute! Megan flip flops between liking and hating it. I think a little frustration is good because t is a motivator. but I get her up before she is frantic. Sometimes she'll take 5 minutes and others 20. It depends i guess. Today she HATED it and I just felt like I was torturing her! ugh!

Well... Tummy time started ok... When Julian was first born, he would just fall asleep on his belly when I put him down on it. Then, at about 3 weeks, it became scream time. Then it was ok again at 5-6 weeks, because he was strong enough to push up on his arms and lift his head so he could look around. Now, at 3 months, he just rolls onto his back. I roll him back over and he rolls onto his back again. I give up!
