Hi everyone I was just wondering what was worse for the little ones, before the tooth comes through the gums or after it starts poking out? Our little Kora popped her first tooth Mon and all week she has been SO clingy to me! I can't even leave the room and she is crying. She seems like her pain hasn't stopped either? We've been doing motrin around the clock and teething tabs. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Grayson was super cranky right before he cut his first tooth last Wed and then his second tooth on Friday. We found that a frozen teether really helped.

Joshua fussed more before his first tooth. But maybe she has another one popping right away. Joshua has 4 teeth now and his top two came within a week of each other.

THAT is an awedome photo! what a cutie! anyway i just wanted to add, if your daughter is around 7 months then it could be separation anxiety, as this is the approx. age you will begin to see this.

all 3 of my kids had a hard time leading up to the 1st tooth cutting, what it could be, is that the 2nd tooth is just about to cut, their 1st two come up quite close in time.
keep using teething gel or ring, or maybe, try a tommee tippee feeder? its a little mesh bag with a handle, put some sliced pear or apple in there, it'll sooth the gum and teeth and provide a healthy distraction

My son had more pain before the tooth popped, but afterwards he was very confused. He did't know hat this new thing in his mouth is and i found it hurt the opposing gum as he was biting it with new tooth.
