Hi, I am a first time mom of a beautiful baby girl, born Aug. 2, 2008. She weighed in at a tiny 5 lbs. 3 oz and 16 in. long. She is 7 months now and weighs 14 lbs. She has reached a developmental milestone two days ago...CRAWLING! I am so proud of her!!!! She haws also been standing (assisted) for awhile and says da-da all day long! She was exclusively breastfed up until 6 months where I started her on solids, so she's been eating baby food for a good month now. I only feed her organic products and considering pureeing her food myself. She sleeps in her own crib in her own nursery, but usually ends up in the bed with me around 2 am, lol. So let me know what your 7 month old is doing!

My daughter just turned 7 months. She was 5 lbs 3 oz at birth as well and is still petite at a whopping 12 pounds! she babbles baba, mama, dada, and yaya. she was breastfed exclusively until 6 months, now we just do night feedings. She has been eating organic babyfood for about a month now. She is sleeping through the night in her own crib in her own room :) She's been thinking about crawling for a few weeks now. She gets on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth, then just catapults herself forward haha hasnt gotten the coordination down yet but it should be soon. She loves to walk (with support of course) so i don't see the crawling stage lasting long before she's pulling herself up. Good luck with your little one!

My son Cooper was born August 27th, 2008 and weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. He weighs 18 lbs now and is 27 1/2 inches long.  He can sit up on his own. He army crawls everywhere and will get on his hands and knees and lunge forward. He just started trying to pull up today. He will not let me rock him anymore, likes to be put in his bed when sleepy. It took me a while to figure this out. I would rock, walk, stroll him and he would cry and not go to sleep. I finally gave up and put him in his bed (a few weeks later) and he went right to sleep. So he had fought sleep for weeks because I thought I had to help him and all he wanted was to be left alone! My favorite thing was rocking him to sleep and it is sad that my baby already doesn't want to be babied that way anymore.

Zoe was born August 9, 8lb15.5oz, 22 inches long (I know, HUGE for a girl!). Funny enough, now, she is no longer huge. Just loooooooooooooooooong. She's about 16 pounds, and 28ish inches now. She was breast-fed exclusively until six months, and since then, some solids and weaning to formula. Just tonight, she started creeping/crawling and is just SO interested in absolutely everything that's going on around her.

Hi Camille:) My daughter was also born Aug 2, 2008! Isn't it the cutest thing -watching her crawl? My daughter's been crawling for about a month now, and standing up against furniture or anything else she thinks will help her up... and bounces on her one leg whenever she hears a song she likes:) She's also started crying whenever I walk out the room - which makes it really hard to leave her in the morning when I go to work.

I started making my own baby food. It is great, but you need a lot of freezer room. However I dont have him in bed with me at 2 a.m. There are some days where he will wake up in the middle of the night, and want me. I just try and tuck him back in and let him go back to sleep. Teaching her that you will get her in the middle of the night, when she wants you is only going to spoil her. Mine also stands assisted, and if you walk he will walk forward with his feet. He is trying to crawl, but doesnt have it down pat yet. He also babbles. Says mama or dada if we say it.

Hi congratulations on your huge milestone what a clever little girl you have! my boy was born on the 22nd Aug 08 and was 37 weeks gestation by emergency c-section, he weighed in at 7lb 10.5oz I have no idea what he is in pounds now but he is 8.560kg. I expressed bottles for my boy cos he was tongue tied so it was painful to feed and he wouldnt attach after it was snipped we went on soy formula at 5 months as he is dairy intollerant. He has been eating solids since 5.5 months he loves the jars of fruit but hates the veggie ones and I dont sblame him they have no taste at all even the organic ones I found anyway, he loves my pureed steamed pumpkin though. He has been sitting up really well on his own for about 2 weeks though he occasionally takes a tumble so the pillow is always close by, he has always been strong on his legs and walks when aided flat footed which is a good sign apparently, he is trying very hard to crawl but one end goes up the other goes down and he gets very frustrated. He still sleeps in our room but has never been a good sleeper even after sleep school, though it did make him a bit better. Keep in touch would love to know how she is doing.

my son was born August 23rd, 2008. he sits up pretty well, although we have to sit him up first! he tried crawling for the first time a few days ago, got up on all fours, took to steps (?) backwards and fell. lol it was hilarious. hes tried a few times since then. he sleeps about 10 - 12 hours at night. he eats anything we put in front of him and gets mad we wont share our grownup food with him. this is my first child and i love every minute of it.

Alexandria was born August 4th, at 3 pounds 5 oz.  She had a shakey start but is now sitting almost on her own.  I breastfed til she was 6 months old and she is sleeping through the night.  She is always talking and she can't be still for more than 5 seconds.  Her hands and feet are always going.  She's still on first foods, but with being so premature she has a problem with constipation.

Madyson was also born on August 2nd. She weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 21 1/2 in. long. At her 6 mo. checkup she was 19 lbs. 7 oz. and 28 in. long. I am sure now she is over 20 lbs. She just recently has gotten up on her hands and knees but has not crawled anywhere yet. She likes to roll to get where she is going. She sits unassisted all the time now (unless she reaches for a toy that is far away and then will topple over). She says da da all day long as well and loves to babble all the time. She loves to stand and does so with assistance whether it be hands or holding on to something else. She just learned to give high fives and gets so excited when she does it (we make a huge deal about it by clapping and cheering). She is eating all kinds of 2nd foods and loves finger foods as well. She is mastering her pincher grasp right now and it is so funny to watch her try and pick something up and put it in her mouth. She is sleeping in her own bed and has been since about 8 weeks old. Unfortunately, she likes to go to sleep on her own and doesn't like to be rocked to sleep anymore. I know this is a good thing but it is also sad that she won't let me rock her unless she is really upset. Anyway, we are having so much fun the 2nd time around and I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings her way!!!

My son was bore on the 15th @ 12:53 am. He was 9 LBS 1 OZ 22 1/4 Inches long. I had to have a c section after over 16 hours of labor. He got stuck. He refused to breast feed at first, but after 6 weeks he decided to start. Now he wont take a bottle. He is now over 21 LBS and about 27 inches long. He sleeps with me in my bed and still wakes up 2 -3 times a night. Which is better than before where he slept on me ( with me in a recliner) and woke ever 2 hours. We started him on solids when he turned 4 months and we are about to start him on the Gerber 3rd foods. He started sitting supported before christmas and now he likes to stand supported and can stand alone for just a second. He says dada, mama, and nana. He likes to spit and scream for fun. He babbles and likes to play with everything he is not supposed to, and not his toys. He gets real excited when he watches video of himself. He got his bottom two teeth last month and I am fortunate that he does not bite while breast feeding. He is also able to put his pacifier in his mouth.

Israel will be 7 mo on the 29th. She weighed 7# 7 oz and is close to 16# now. She started solids at about 5 mo, she loves her fruit and veggies. I still breastfeed as much as she wants. She can army crawl and  sit up all by herself now. She'll walk around the house holding your fingers, she's been doing that for 3 or 4 mo now. She's had 2 teeth for almost 2 mo. She babbles alot, but I truely can't wait to hear her first words with her sweet voice!

Aeryn just turned 7 mos on the 25th. She was 6# at birth and is 15# now. She started cereal at 3 months, now she eats pretty much anything you put her front of her, including little finger foods. She's army crawling, pulling herself up a 4 inch step up in my sister living room and will walk with a little support. Barely any hair, no teeth, babbles but only says "Hi" and doesn't pull herself up into a sitting position, though she can sit for long periods of time if we put her down sitting.

She is beautiful!! My son, Kaden was born on August 18th and weighed 7lbs and 7oz.. He now weighs 25 lbs! He's a big boy :-) He just started crawling last week and I am SOOO proud of him. Kaden still doesn't sleep in his own crib..I know I know it's very dangerous to have him in the bed with me, but I truly enjoy him being there!

My son was born on Aug. 23, 2008. He was a month preemie and I am glad to say that he is already caught up with kids his own age. He weighed 5 lbs. even, and was 19 in. long. He was exclusively breastfed for his first month of life. Now he is on Good Start Soy formula. He was introduced to solids around 4 months and is now curious for new 'grown-up' foods. He loves to laugh and explore his surroundings. He hasn't started crawling yet. He turned 7 months on the 23rd. He sleeps in his own crib throughout the night and has been teething for over a month now. He is very social and blows lots of bubbles. He tries to sit steady but usually tumbles over. But I'm sure he'll master that skill soon. I'm so happy to be a Mommy as he is my first!

My daughter was also born on August 2, 2008. She was 8lbs 1oz and probably weighs about 17-18lbs by now. She has been formula fed for most of her life and started solids at 4months. She now loves finger food the most and is getting much better at getting food in her mouth now. She's not doing the typical crawl yet but she's moving around like a mad woman these days. Sometimes I'm not quite sure how she got across the room so fast. She has also mastered the da-da-da's and the other day she said da da da da da da diddy, I laughed. She's also waving at everyone and everything as well as imitating anyone that coughs and she's able to pull herself up to stand and she loves her walker. This is an amazing age!!

She is so cute! Congrats on the crawling! My son will be 7 months in two days. He weighed 7lbs 12oz at birth, but his gain has been slow and he only weights 16lbs right now. I breastfed exclusively until 5.5 months and we've been experimenting with solids since then. I've been making my own baby food which has been very easy, I highly recommend it. He's not crawling yet, but I expect it really soon as he is trying so hard to become mobile, rolling around, lunging and reaching, pulling himself on him tummy. He can almost sit independently and can stand well while being held or holding on to things. Life just keeps getting more exciting! All the best to you and your beautiful girl!
