My daughter has been eating table food for a couple of months now, the only problem I am having is finding things she likes for breakfast so she still has baby food in the morning. I have tried eggs and waffles but she really doesnt like them. Does any one have any ideas for breakfast? Also what does your baby eat on a typical day and how many times do they drink milk or juice? I want to find out if she eats about the same as toddlers her age.

Thanks!!

I had a friend who's baby didn't like breakfast food. She fed him lunch/ dinner stuff fruits and veggies and added in whole wheat toast/ bagels. Eventually he started eating cereal, toast, yogurt, but still doesn't care for waffles, pancakes, eggs, traditional breakfast stuff.

My son eats baby ceareal for breakfast (we mix it with milk), a sippy cup of juice, and if he is still hungry he eats cheerioes. We have also given him oatmeal instead of the baby cereal. My son will be 1 year on Aug 31, and we were instructed that he should only be drinking 1 sippy cup of juice (half diluted with water) a day. Juices tend to be more sugary than anything else, so they don't get as much nutritional value from it. He also has about 1-2 sippy cups of milk a day, and the rest is water. We drink water like crazy and so does he. Other than that, he pretty much eats whatever we eat. Hope this helps!

My son loves anything you put in front of him. He has had scrambled eggs, french toast sticks, pancakes, oatmeal, butter or jelly toast, fruit, etc.

Today was his first day at daycare without a bottle. It was all whole milk in a sippy cup. He has been drinking from a sippy cup for awhile now and he can manage by himself just fine.

Yesterday he had one bottle before bed, the rest of the day was whole milk in a sippy cup ( for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner) . I try to keep him on the same daily schedual that he has at daycare so its easy for him.

He probably has 18-24 ounces of milk or formula throughout the day. He eats just about anything for breakfast, lunch ,snack and dinner. I am super lucky that I dont have a picky eater!

my son loves pancakes and french toast. He still gets a few 4oz bottles during the day along with juice and water when he's thirsty. I would try oatmeal or malt-o-meal. They have a different texture and might be interesting for her.

Malt-o-meal, the instant packs-brown sugar cinnamon are a hit. My Mom has given them toaster struddle for a treat for breakfast as well. My kids are just starting to get regular milk in a sippy cup at meals. I also get the smoky links and take off the skin, bananas are a hit...we rarely do juice. And of course, Cheerios...my twins like Apple-Cinnamon the best.

Skyler likes scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes, french toast, and I still give her baby cereal. And if we are out running around I take a jar of stage 2 breakfast with us, That way I can feed her on the run. I only give her one 4oz bottle a day. The rest of the day I nurse her.

Maple and brown sugar oatmeal. I mix it with a little formula. I havent swithched mine over to milk yet, the doctor told me to wait. Scarlett drinks alot of water and she gets about 4 oz of juice a day. I nurse her 4 times a day still. Lunch and dinner she eats about 2 jars a piece. Table food for snacks only. She gets bored of it before she gets enough to eat.
