My 5 month old has cut her 2 bottom teeth already and I'm wondering if any other babies have cut teeth early as Ruby is the first in our mothers group to do so. She is growing up too fast!! Loving every minute tho

My son cut his 2 bottom teeth around 5 months of age as well. His first was at 5 months and 1 week old (just before Christmas last year) and the other was at 5 months and 4 weeks old. It is early but nothing out of the ordinary. He did not cut his others till 8 months of age. Now at 15.5 months old he has his first 4 molars(the last one has just broken thru) and his two top eye teeth have also cut thru. (which from the moms at my playgroup is also early). The sooner they have teeth the sooner teething is over and done with and for my guy that is the best as he is a cranky teether!!!!

my daughter is 5 months almost 6 months at the end of Feb. She has been teething since she was 3 months old. But still she has not cut any teeth yet. This is my first baby so I'm wondering how long does it take for them to cut teeth?

My little one just turned 6 months yesterday and she still has yet to cut any teeth; however she's drooling and being quite fussy. Every child is different and go through things at different times. 5 months and cutting teeth is nothing to worry about.

My daughter have her teeth even before she got 4 months, and even sits in her own and wanted to stand not to crawl.. shes going 6 now but she did not like crawling shes trying to walk..

Little Joel here got his first two teeth just before christmas (the bottom front). His third one finally cut just yesterday (top front), and the fourth one (also top front) should be in any day now. He hasn't really been grumpy at all, either. I definitely feel lucky in that sense!

My daughter was only 4 months and at 5 she got her second tooth :) And i can see more coming in :) My cousins son was only 2 weeks.. so I mean every babys different right?

My son just turned 6 months, and cut his first bottom tooth last week, the one beside it is so close I can see it through his gums though so should come through anyday. I thought that once they started drooling and chewing on everything the teeth would come through, but he has been teething since 1 month, and it took 5 for them to come in. It sucks for these little guys that it takes so long for them to cut their little teeth but sooo cute when they come through! :)

my daughter is 5 months as well and she is just cutting her 3 bottom tooth she has had her first 2 bottom ones scene she was 4 months and im a first time mother i was concerned about this as well because there wasn't any other baby's her age that had been cutting any teeth shes very fussy as well

haya yeah my son tyler got he's first two bottom teeth threw at once and was no bother bless him :) he got them threw at 4 months! now he is getting another! he will have a full set before i know it lol x

My son has not as of yet, but I had a friend whose son cut cut teeth at four month sold and by eight months he had a full mouth full. It was quite a sight! It just depends on the baby and I heard that teeth cutting can be hereditary.

it's normal. my baby (3rd one) has it at 4.5 months, my 2 has it at 5 mos & my 1st has it at 4 months : 2 upper & 2 below.. doctor didn't mention anything to be concern, only we have to spent more extra time to take care those baby tooth.. :)

i know how you feel. My daughter cut at 4months and they were already out all the way a few days later, about a week. She was also 5 weeks premature & growing way to fast. They are super cute though, especially when she smiles & laughs really hard. .

They all do things at different ages.. some things before others other later does not mean they are developing to quick or to slow! My sons name is also Caleb and is also the same weight!

HI, my son has also cut his 2 botton teeth at 5 months. My oldes son cut his first tooth around the same age. Some just come earlyer than others. My son Caleb is already 19lbs and he can sit up with a little help. And he also loves saying dada lol:)

My boy is 5 months in 2 weeks and he has 3 bottom teeth, 1 eye tooth & the other eye tooth just just cut so 5 TEETH BEFORE 6 MONTHS! I did not know he was getting teeth but had an idea when he was chewing on everything fingers jammed in mouth and the droll was non stop... then one day i saw a cut on his gum then a tooth!

My 5 1/5 month old is yet to show any signs my first 2 cut 4 teeth by the time they were 6 months so I'm thinking he won't cut them till he is 1 and then get them all at once : (
I know of someone whose 1st child cut their first tooth at 6 weeks and if I didn't see it with my own eyes I would never have believed it so unbelievable and yet I've been told by the clinic nurse it does happen, go figure!!!

I am in the same situation. Carson just got his 2nd tooth at 5 months-his first one came at 4 months! Its common for some babys but it is on the fast track.

My daughter cut her teeth at 5 months old too.. She is now 6 months old and starting to cut her upper teeth... and to tell u the truth they are worse. The gel works better then the tablets on her. But she has more drool then ever I actually have to wear a bib on her b/c if I don't I have to change her outfit so many times threw out the day/night. Good luck....

my lil girls 5 months and cut her 2 bottom teeth too, she got her left 1 then a few days later cut the right 1! shes also standing on her own and very close to crawling! i cant believe it, just seems she hasnt been a baby at all lol! shes great fun tho, but this last week has been a nightmare, shes not beem sleepin well obviously because shes teethin, think im gettin 3 hours sleep a night, its not good, but no matter how poorly she is shes still got her gorge lil smile! brightens up my day it does shes ace!

My son has two teeth and he is cutting his third. he just turned 6 mos on the 2nd but he cut the first two at 5 1/2 months old.
My two year old cut her first tooth at 7 months but her gums were really tough.
my 1 year old neice just cut her first tooth.

My 5 month old has just gotten in his two bottoms as well!! He is doing so much so fast, but its a good thing because that means that he's going to be very hands on like his big sister thats 2!!
