My daughter is almost 11 months and sometimes I spin her around to make her dizzy and set her down. I think it's so funny to watch her fumble or rock to the side, and she actually laughs too. I can't imagine it's bad for her, but I wanted other peoples opinions.

I wouldn't recommend doing it, but that is just me thinking in the medical aspect of things... Ive too many instances of shaking baby syndrome... and you don't have to literally shake a baby for it to happen... Their brains are much smaller than a grown adults and when you are twirling him/her around and them suddenly stop the brain bounces back and forth and can cause serious damage... But like I said this is the Medical aspect of things coming out in me as a mother... But I lost my 2 year old 13 months and 3 days ago in an drowning accident and I was 32 weeks pregnant with my now 11 month old... So anything that I think may harm my children that I have left here on Earth Im not going to do... I know it was an accident, but I dont want to do anything to lose the other 2 children that I have...

Haha! I don't feel guilty now about throwing a soft toy at my baby. We were playing "catch" one day with a soft block and I accidentally hit her in the face. She laughed hysterically, so now it is a fun game. I toss it and it very softly bops her in the head or face and she loves it!

My nearly 11 month old LOVES wizzy dizzies!!!! He giggles and giggles. If she likes it, keep doing it

I think like any game, as long as you two are laughing together, and it's not you laughing AT him, then it's fine. When it stops being mutual, it's time to stop.

my daughter once she could walk did it to herself - she would spin and spin and then stagger all over the room - same are your daughter apparently she liked it -

my partner loves to do it to our son he likes it until u put him down and he gets the dizzy sensation and then cries out hes fine tho so i wouldnt worry

If she's enjoying it, go ahead. The main thing is if you do it too long, it wont be fun anymore.

as long as you don't do it for too long and she doesn't seem to be bothered by it then i wouldn't worry about it too much
