any chicago mom's out there??

I always love when people start a blog by saying "I never do this kind of thing" sounds so cheesy. So in my cheesy state I am saying I have never blogged before and I have never tried an online forum to meet people. But as my life has recently changed to be a "stay at home mom" I am looking for others in the Chicago area. I usually associate with night owls and artists and have realized this is not a community that is overlly welcome to babies. With that being said, I am interested in getting to know other moms in the area. I'd love to chat or even meet for play dates.....

I am a Chicago stay at home mom too! This is my first time joining these forums too, they are pretty helpful. Where do you live?
